The exhibit was for students of both Akron & Kent State University to express their talents and some of the work I viewed was very interesting. Some of it was just so-so and a few pieces were very cool; as with any art show. The studio itself has some beautiful & I'm assuming original woodwork that I'd kill to have in my own home. I personally didn't mind all the stairs but this is definitely not a handicap accessible building :/ There is a cute little balcony and kitchen with refreshments...oh, how it would make a wonderful studio apartment!!! But if you're an artist looking to have a showing, it has great space, plenty of natural light and wall space! I was just bummed at the lack of sculpture - maybe next time.

If you visit her website, you'll see countless shoots for weddings and families. I, however, have been working with Elizabeth for 6+ months as an event photographer for Yelp events... and I would be totally lost without her. Her work as an event photographer is flawless, and she has grown tremendously in the time i've known her. One day, she will be running the game in Cleveland. Elizabeth has a keen eye for detail. In her event photography, she is able to capture the character and heart of whatever business she is highlighting. She also takes direction beautifully, and is even kind and patient when I give her requests for photos (even though, most of the time, she took them already)! Elizabeth is so easy to work with. She's a literal joy to have at our events. Her positivity, friendliness and engaging personality make even the most camera shy attendees very comfortable. We have no issues communicating, her invoicing process is easy, and she is always open to whatever opportunities are thrown her way. First, I'll be honest, it is truly an investment - however, it is truly probably the most best investment we have ever made. I felt like part of a family, from the countless number of emails, phone calls, texts ... the list goes on and on. When we first started the wedding planning process, we had originally hired a different photo & video team; after we had gotten our engagement photos done by them, we knew we had made the wrong decision. After we got our first set of engagement photos back, we decided to start looking into a new photographer. I had first talked to Brett when we first started looking for a photo & video team - I loved their idea of the cinematic videos, and I felt like their photos told a story. I just can't explain it - they just make sense. When we finally went in to talk with Brett for our first visit, literally every. single. thing. we hated about our old photographer they said they didn't do. The best part, WE NEVER TOLD THEM THAT WE HAD HIRED ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER! They thought that law school had gotten the best of us, and we were just super busy. When we left that day, my husband and I knew we had found our photographers. They have several different packages you can choose from, however, we went with several packages that included a cinematic video, trailers, full length videos (more on that later), photos (wedding & engagement), and books. The cinematic video didn't just include the day of the wedding, but a separate day that the video team comes and videographs - think of it like a video engagement session. For ours, we decided to have a party (our bridal party party as we called it) and Anna came out and filmed for a couple hours. The cinematic video also includes interviews, so we were able to have some interviews taken at the bridal party party too. This was so much fun, and the whole entire team was amazing. Sadly, COVID has changed us all, and one of the things that happened was we had to change our entire reception (literally change venues and tell people they couldn't come) about 5 weeks before our wedding - that was no easy task, but because of MTM, we were able to live stream our ENTIRE WEDDING (both ceremony and reception) and they worked with us every step of the way in planning everything. I am extremely OCD, I need control of EVERYTHING - this was probably the first time that I was able to breathe easy; I knew that the MTM team was able to do what we needed them to do. It was flawless - everybody who wasn't able to be at our wedding because of COVID was able to watch. And people who still wanted to watch the reception were able to, even though we had to limit it to bridal party, plus ones, and parents. The best part? We were able to rewatch our entire wedding and reception the day after we got married. I will never be able to thank Brett for that. I could probably continue writing on for hours because they were truly that good. Everybody loved their energy, their passion, and how they made everyone feel included and loved. I don't think I could have asked for a better team on my special day and throughout the process. If you are considering Making the Moment, please hire them. They are 100% worth it - they will make everything better, and they will remind you that it is your day and to enjoy it.
