I went to this practice because they have an English website and they "welcome english speaking…read morepatients"
i just stopped by and made an appointment, the receptionist was nice enough and spoke a basic English. I have asked her if they accepted the European Health insurance card and she said yes, so i made an appointment for the following day.
the morning of my appointment i went there and i found the receptionist from hell (a different lady) she did not speak english, and was very rude, when i told her that i had an EHIC she said that that was a private practice. she did not offer any explanation at all, loss for words and a bit intimidated i rang my boyfriend and asked him to talk to her (he is german) she didn't change a bit, the rudeness despite the change of language, stayed.
anyways after waiting for more then 30 minutes i saw that doctor, bear in mind that i only needed a prescription, he was a bit nicer but not too helpful and his english wasn't that good either.
so i am asking myself why do you advertise in english, say that english speaking patients are welcome when you don't have the facilities (i.e. speaking a good english) to cater for english speaking patients....
I am just curios to see the bill since she refused to say how much the visit would cost.
i am sure there are nicer and better practice to go to in Stuttgart or at least i hope so...
just stay clear from this place!!!
