Service was friendly and the shop is small but cute. I loved the pink exterior too. It's located right in the central part of the city.

Boulenc is a breakfast and cafe spot in the city center of Oaxaca. It's popular among tourists but…read morealso among locals as well. We went a little before open and there was already a small line forming. We ordered the ham and cheese croissant ($145 MXN) and the shakshuka ($135). The croissant was soft and I liked the cheesiness and creaminess. The shakshuka had a bit of spice and I liked dipping the bread into the sauce. The eggs were a little hard though and not runny at all. Both of these dishes were delicious and I still think about the shakshuka even today. For drinks we had the flat white ($58) and iced latte ($63) which were also good. We usually don't go to the same place more than once during our travels but this place was just so good we had to. This was my favorite brunch spot and I can see why it's such a popular spot.

It's a cute and small place with a nice courtyard that has a fountain though it looks like there are only two tables in the courtyard. Expect lots of gringos during touristy periods, it's sort of in the middle off of several hostels. The service was good, lady wrote down Wi-Fi login and handed it to me as soon as I sat down which was thoughtful :) Food was ok . The drowning eggs were ok but the sauce was a little too sour for me. I ordered some chilaquilles with pork and they were a little too salty and sour
Cute courtyard
Looks like the name of this place is changed to El Tendajon
