Great deli and lunch spot for the office crowd working nearby. I'm a big fan of cannelloni, and at this delicatessen they stuff the hallow pasta tubes with Swedish kantareller mushrooms, mangold chard, ricotta cheese, white truffle, and topped with parmesan over a light tomato sauce. This was an exceptional vegetarian dish, with fresh ingredients, and a great Swedish version of the traditional Tuscan Fiorentini cannelloni.
We shared the cannelloni (well, I let my partner have a few bites), which meant I got to sample our 2nd lunch entree, Panzanella di Mano. Lightly roasted tenderloin, piccadilly tomatoes, grilled papkrika, croutons, soured red onions, olive oil, and parmesan peels. Very heavy dish, although tasty, this will put someone in a food coma after returning to their office after lunch. We boxed half the dish up to eat as a snack later on.
Overall, the dishes were prepared fast, Panzanella from scratch, while the cannelloni as expected was cut from a large portion already baked for the masses that were expected to arrive during the lunch hour rush. Great atmosphere eating in the Hötorgshallen Haymarket! read more
