UNUM drags their feet on paying claims and will even say that a hospital stay was due to a pre-existing condition to not have to pay out the claims. I mean you find this out about 3 or 4 months after filing the claim. Because they offer such crappy coverage I'm electing to not pick these coverages in 2024 and save more money in the premiums than what they cover. UNUM is nothing more than a typical thief.

In the course of reviewing, I asked why the auto rate went up so much. The person said it was the cost of auto parts. She then said you had a suspension of drivers license and that is why it went up. I said you sent us a letter saying it was a clerical error and that the suspension was voided. She then said yes I see that on my computer, and we over charged you $250.
