Since the shoot involved body paint it obviously had to be someone she was comfortable working with as many of those were fabric free. We met with Kat for a consultation and spent sever hours working on the details for the shoot. Time well spent in the quality of the final product. On shoot day we scheduled the entire day. Kat coordinated with a hair & makeup artist and a body paint artist - we were pleased with both. Kat's assistant also helped with the various housekeeping duties involved with staging and a half dozen wardrobe changes. Our shoot was smooth and well put together, her entire operation was coordinated and adapted to delays as necessary thru the day. Working with her for edits which required multiple iterations she was patient and very accomodating. Great quality takes time folks, it cannot be rushed so keep that in mind and factor into your photo projects. When quality and fantastic customer service is required this studio is the place to go.

I was contact recently regarding my review from Kat and she asked I remove I review. I am not removing my review. It is my point of view that 1. I spent $120 on Groupon for her services that never stated in the fine print that she would require and additional purchase with a min price of $600 with her Groupon ! Groupon refuses to give my money back so I now have a credit. 2. I feel a three star review now accurate assessment of the conversation and time she took explaining to me that she prefers to work with clients that can afford and are willing to spend and "invest" a significant amount of time and money! I explained I did not use her services as she described her services to not be a "good fit" for what I wanted. That is her right and I appreciate that thank you ! But I still feel you are worthy of an honest review which is three stars . Please don't ask me to change my view point ! Please don't harass me about my review ! I feel I was honest and accurate ! My daughter's preschool used Linn Images to take graduation photos. I've purchased school photos…read morefor my other child for years. Typically companies offer digital and/or print packages where you can select more than one photo. Linn does not. To purchase a single digital photo is $45, which is shockingly expensive. I asked whether they could create a bundle of three digital download. They said no. In total, there were about 8 different poses, meaning I'd need to pay almost $400 to download them all. That is more expensive than a hours-long maternity photo shoot. This is price gouging at its best. Quite disappointing.

Mariemil suggested we use the Cal State Long Beach Japanese Gardens as the backdrop for our family. Very nice. The location was free from crowds and had a number of beautiful settings including koi ponds, wooden bridges, walkways, foliage, etc. She suggested a number of different set-ups throughout the one hour sitting and we ended up with about 100 different photos. This was the BEST decision that we could have made. We were aware of his professionalism and quality of work, but were surprised at how personable he was and how he tried to customize each experience for his clients. Raghu Uncle immersed himself in our event. Leading up to the engagement party he was thorough; he tried to understand the type of shots we like to see, i.e. candid vs. portrait or colored vs. black / white, so he could deliver on the day of the event. He made himself available by phone, text and email to alleviate any concerns that we may have had leading up to the event, when stress levels were greatest. When asked, he was willing to go outside of the purview of his role as a photographer / videographer to ensure that our event was perfect by lending advice based on his experiences. After our engagement party, despite having other events to work, he was still accessible. Equally important, he delivered our engagement photos in a timely manner. This is an important consideration for all those looking to hire a photographer / videographer - how quickly can they edit, finalize and deliver the photos from your event to you. Raghu Uncle was able to give us ours in less than one month, despite being fully booked for other events. This left a lasting impression with us. Naturally, given our amazing experience during our engagement party, we hired him and his team for our wedding - despite it being in another city. Raghu Uncle quickly went from just another vendor to a friend. We had our pre-wedding shoot in another city, again, no issues from Uncle. We spent roughly 10 hours this day (including a break for lunch) taking photos. Throughout it all, Raghu Uncle was encouraging and enthusiastic. We were able to do three wardrobe changes and took shots from three different locations. Raghu Uncle saw that we were having fun and in turn, he was having fun. As I mentioned before, he tries to customize each experience so that it's perfect for the couple. In the end, we had a ton of photos in our arsenal! Finally, it was time for the wedding week. Raghu Uncle photographed and recorded four events for us. Throughout each of the four events, Raghu Uncle and team were where they needed to be. I'm certain that no stone was left unturned and no key moment went unphotographed. This speaks to the quality of their experience and moreover their attention to detail. To touch on one more aspect of our experience with Raghu Uncle, before moving on to costs, it has been a little over one month since our wedding has passed. At our one month mark, Raghu Uncle posted a few pictures on Facebook from our events. This showed me that we weren't just another number or event to him; it was a nice personal touch. We truly believe that Raghu Uncle and team are the best available and the easiest to work with. He was referred to us and it's only right that we pay this great experience forward to the next couple. Of course, like with all vendors, money is a relevant issue. In our experience, Raghu Uncle was the type of vendor to work with you. His primary goal was for us to have the best experience possible and not be overwhelmed with costs. My sense is that he is looking to make a fair and equitable accord, as opposed to becoming an overnight millionaire. He was genuinely the complete package - professional, personable and affordable - while delivering high quality shots and videos in a timely manner.
