Pregnancy series: I…read morehad a big waffle craving and my husband thought of just going out for a Sunday Brunch since we have a toddler who wakes up at 6am So we arrived at 8am and we were waiting in the car with all of the other people because we thought that the place opened at 9:30-10am... (yes my toddler eat while we were waiting in the car) We see this one person just enter to get coffee and my husband jumps out of the car to run to the line because there were easy like 10 cars waiting Food was quick, coffee came with food as we requested and it was amazing! Such a great balance of flavors in every single plate. My one critique is that they should at least add a second waffle

The food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their warm meal. The drink, breakfast, and lunch options are extensive and unique. I really enjoyed my steak quesadillas with guava sauce, side salad, and iced coffee. I tried my friend's hot lavender coffee and it was very good. Portion sizes are great for the price! I would definitely recommend this space and come back.

Here is what we noticed: - You order at the counter and either take out or they bring your order to your table. We opted to eat in. They have a lot of different coffee drinks, but we had already filled up on coffee at our Airbnb so we focused on breakfast instead. - My wife and I ordered both the Breakfast Sandwich and the Burrito (Beso de desayuno) and split each. The bread on the sandwich, and the filling in the burrito were the standouts...very good! - Vibe inside is very comfortable, as there were several small round tables. Bottom line: We're glad we started our day at Cafe Comunion!

We were greeted and seated quickly and although the place is small we got the worst view, but the service was still fantastic. It was super clean and super busy. The tables were never open very long and we lucked out to get one without waiting, even on a Monday morning! We definitely experienced our worst language barriers while here and relied heavily on pictures. I thought I could speak enough spanish to get breakfast and coffee, but I froze on stage... The only real disappointment we had was the pictures online show some really fancy coffee and we did not get that. What we did get was very good coffee and very delicious and super fresh breakfasts. We would recommend this as a place to go if you want to come away from the beach and the tourist traps there. We would definitely recommend and would come back. Plan to have parking issues, but don't give up. This is a neat place and a fun find!
