I used the pool and the weight room. The only issue I had was the men's locker room shower, it took approximately four minutes for the water to get warm, and during my shower the water temperature changed when a toilet was used. Overall, this is a great YMCA, and a great place to work out.

The facility is easy to find, next to the Mill Creek police department. It's clean and the volunteers are pleasant and well versed. I checked out the "love of music" program and found people playing violins, mandolins, bass, guitar and a singer. I might just have to sit in on my C clarinet.

Due to the lack of recent reviews, I didn't know what to expect. Overall, my daughter had a great experience! They were a little less structured than other summer camps (in activities) but she was still happy and I liked how flexible pickup and drop off times were (as long as we did not go over 10 hours). It worked well for both parent's schedule. Unfortunately, they couldn't offer any field trips this summer (at least when my daughter went from mid-July to mid-August). Would recommend.

They keep up on most repairs and close for a week each September for major repairs and a deep clean. Daily cleaning is good, but people don't always clean up after themselves in the locker rooms. We were invited by some friends, who have guest passes with their membership, to spend the morning…read moreswimming during Rec Time in the pool. The space was large, looked clean, and well laid out. We enjoyed the expansive family changing areas, different and a great surprise. Lockers are available, too for use while swimming in the large pool. The pool was separated in half. One half was composed of four lap lanes; good signage for those wishing to swim slow, medium or fast. The second half was also split in half, creating two smaller, square pools, one shallow (2-4 feet) the other deeper (4-5 feet). The shallow side held a water structure, shaped like a mushroom, that showered upon the kids splashing and playing in the area. (To turn this feature on, a lifeguard must be notified.) In order to be free to swim in the deep end (where there is a tube slide, which wasn't in use during our visit), one must prove to the lifeguards competency and skill - jump far enough in to hold your head underwater, swim the length of the pool without resting or stopping, and float or tread water for 30 seconds. This is a great tool for encouraging up-coming swimmers, as well as keeping people safe. Well done! After our swim session, our friends gave us a little tour of the class spaces, gymnasium, workout machines, free coffee/tea/hot cocoa, and kids/teen play and hang out spaces. It's a great facility and we look forward to coming back!

On top of that, we couldn't be happier with our new family membership. My kids love the kids zone and frequently ask to go there. The swimming pool has been a great addition to our weekly routine, and the kids night out events have allowed my husband and I to have regular date nights for the first time in a decade. My kids are really excited to get signed up for YMCA summer camp, too. YMCA programs have really helped my family thrive. My only wish is that the kid zone would expand their hours. It's tough for working parents to have dinner and get there before they close on weekday evenings, and even harder on the weekends because they close at lunch time on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. And once the kids have finished their weekend sports engagements, there is just no time. I would be willing to pay more for after hours kid zone access!

But I have seen some reviews by Seniors that complain about the high fees here - Actually, a lot of Medicare plans pay for exercise programs - my Premera Supplement does - so I hope the Y takes some of those FYI!

The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and clearly designed with competitive swimming in mind. The water temperature is on the cooler side, but it's perfect for performance swimming. The size of the facility is another major advantage, allowing it to accommodate 10-lane swim meets while still providing plenty of space for swimmers and spectators. Overall, this is one of my favorite swimming facilities in the Puget Sound area. I would choose this pool over almost any other major aquatic center in the region. Whether you're competing at a meet or just visiting the facility, it's a fantastic place to swim.

The rules are completely over the top. You have to be 16+ just to use the hot tub, which already feels excessive, but banning pool noodles is next level ridiculous. I didn't even bring one, they literally had a whole bin of them there, just sitting there that no one is allowed to use. What is even the point of that? Then, after paying, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for absolutely no clear reason. No explanation, no organization, just standing around while time was wasted. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all. And the sanitation? Questionable at best. For a place that's supposed to be about swimming and cleanliness, it did not feel clean or well-maintained. Overall, this place manages to be strict, disorganized, and underwhelming all at once. Charging people for this kind of experience is wild. I definitely won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy paying to be annoyed

Unfortunately all other daycares had a 1yr+ wait lists so we had no choice but to jump on the open spot here and paid to reserve the available spot. Later, we decided to visit the infant daycare room and meet the teachers before our baby started. Thank goodness we did. Every single child in the room was sick with very runny noses and coughs. When we asked what the limitations were for sick children the teachers said that they only turn children away if they have fever, are vomiting or have diarrhea. They flat out told us that we would just have to understand that there were always sick kids in the class and that our child would be getting sick. At one point, one of the more sick children spit up a good amount on the rug where all the kids were playing. The teacher barely wiped it up with a paper towel and spray allowing the other kids to play right where it was. They never wiped the spit up off the child's mouth. He put a rattle in his mouth getting spit up all over it when another child grabbed it and put it in their mouth. There was no real attempt at sanitation to avoid the spread of germs. Also the children were pretty fussy and the teachers did not seem at all confident or comfortable handling it. They seemed very overwhelmed and even frustrated. This was with only 6 children and they take up to 8 in that room. After that visit, there was no way we could imagine
