I looked for a chiropractor near my home and saw that Momentum Health was located in Deerfoot City, a few minutes from my home so I made an appointment with Jacqueline. Jacqueline was very helpful and took my complaints very seriously. She is a great listener. After a few treatments from her, she recommended I get ongoing physiotherapy treatment. I then started physio with Mark, who works with a kinesiologist, Zoe. Together, Mark and Zoe got me to understand what was happening with me and through 4 treatments I received manual treatments from Mark and along with Zoe, I was provided with several excellent exercises to do at home which got me feeling so much better in a very short time. I walked out of there after 2 chiropractic sessions and 4 physiotherapy sessions, feeling like myself again, and confident that with the ongoing exercises they gave me, I would not have to return (at least with the issues I walked in with). Jacqueline, Mark and Zoe were so professional, knowledgeable and personable that I felt very confident and at ease in their care. They all have excellent communication skills and was never confused about what they were trying to tell me. They educated me about what I needed to do to help myself and it really worked and I'm able to fully participate in all the activities I was doing before I started having these problems. I initially walked into this clinic very anxious and not knowing what to expect. I was welcomed by Emily, their front person, who is so competent, professional and friendly that I felt myself relax right away. She is this way with everyone, on every visit. Hopefully I'll never need chiropractic or physiotherapy treatments again but if I do I will definitely choose Momentum Health in Deerfoot City. Oh yeah - the free parking is epic, and the bakery next door (Lena's), is unbelievable. I got myself a treat there, every time I went. :)

After having my vehicle crashed into two times (not my fault) in the past 10 years I suffer from the long lasting affects of whiplash/stiff upper back/neck. Dr. Judy has been my Chiropractor for the past couple of years. She also offers Chiropractic Rehabilitative treatment to animals. It fascinates me and always makes me chuckle while I am sitting waiting for my appointment and a dog gets called in before me. They are all amazing, and it's easy to get into right away to see one of them. Dr. Lawson (who I have seen the most) is incredibly knowledgeable. Anytime I come in with a problem Dr. Lawson is able to pinpoint exactly what is wrong and fix it. I would never trust another chiropractor. He doesn't just crack unnecessary joints, and he tells you exactly why he is doing what he is doing. On my last visit, I had asked if I could be squeezed in if possible as I was leaving the country for 10 days and my jaw had seized up completely. Last time this had happened was due to stress, and it had lasted a week. I'm unable to eat when this happens as I can hardly move my jaw. Dr. Lawson saw me within 2 hours of me calling. He did enough work on my jaw and gave me exercises so that my jaw was better within 5 hours and hasn't seized up since. I was also able to eat on my vacation and enjoy my time off :)

I have been going to THE Downtown Sports Clinic (Bow Valley) for 8+ years. As an engineer working…read moredowntown, it's extremely accessible during the work day and I know I'm always in good hands. The physio therapists (Siobhan, Lori, and Jennifer) have all helped me out! I'm impressed that they are up to date on new techniques - I've even had acupuncture as a treatment for my twisted ankle. They are all professional, and great at listening to address the specific issue. What I like the most is that they're great at focusing on improving the issue, but also suggesting preventative maintenance and/or strengthening exercises so that the injury will not happen again. Jennifer was especially helpful after my motor vehicle accident and assisted with all the paperwork to ensure I could focus on getting better. I also received massage therapy treatment at the same time. It was great to have the physio and massage therapists at one clinic who were both familiar with my situation. I currently see Michelle for massage therapy - she is punctual and always inquires how much pressure to apply. The admin staff are wonderful at accommodating my schedule when I call in for an appointment - thanks! THE Downtown Sport Clinic is excellent, as they really care about their patients.
