More elusive than a Chick-fil-A on Sunday, Caribou is never open. Every time I want to enjoy a coffee, it seems that Caribou is dark and empty inside. Sure enough, the hours reflect the desolate, empty interior of this location. My family and I keep discussing whether or not this is a money laundering scheme since it never seems to be open. I love Caribou, but please fix your hours to normal human operating hours! read more

Going during the week is the best time to get fresh bagels! On the weekends they seem to be sold out of almost everything by 10am. The coffee is really great and the service is just as great. Einstein bagels are a nice treat from time to time. The Noah's bagels has really completely disappeared which is unfortunate. The shop here is very cozy with pleasant wood tables and chairs with scattered outlets available for the students and others who like to work here. The bagels are much better than Starbucks, but the coffee selection is more limited of course. It is considerably safer to get in and out than the larger Starbucks in town. The smaller Starbucks has very limited seating and is not my choice for spending time in. read more

I started working at this coffee shop a little less than a year ago, I started as a shift leader getting paid 15$ per hour, I thought I would have been trained that week, but I ended up never fully being trained. Just recently I was in a sever car accident, leaving me injured with work restrictions, also totaling my car. The business was very understandable for a couple of weeks and then when I Tried to come back to work that's when the agreements and arrangements I had made with My general manager, Shawn Haaland, came to an end. She seemed annoyed with my restrictions and uncooperative with my friend who was working with me at the time taking me to and from work. This not the only issue with this store I strongly suggest finding somewhere else to work unless you are just wanting a part time obligation or something for a short time. The business is at fault for enabling management to use and take advantage of their employees. After being told my restrictions aren't good for the business anymore, I tried to file for unemployment and snap/medicade benefits. The Human services department and unemployment office needed her to contact them to confirm my termination and she has been nothing but uncooperative. Saying they will need to go through corporate office to get information on me. Then declined me the district managers phone number. Then hung up the phone on me. read more

Can't substitute anything on sandwiches. Can't even ask for no cream cheese. Sooo it's basically just frozen sandwiches. Bagel was soft and mushy. Frozen sandwiches aren't worth $6-$7. read more

The coffee was amazing, but I can do without the grouchy and unnecessary attitude from the drive thru worker.

I don't think I have ever had a more burnt espresso in my life. When there are a ton of high schoolers working I don't expect much but if this espresso was anymore burnt it would've been basically charred. The employees there are also not at all happy to be there and just there to collect a check. read more

My husband and I went here on a whim on Easter of this year because it was one of the only places open that we could find. I ordered the Herbivore bagel topper and was recommended to try it on the Asiago bagel by the cashier, while my husband ordered the Nova Lox. Our food was absolutely incredible. I cannot even express how shocked and excited I was to find out just how awesome their food is. The bagels were toasted perfectly, the Asiago bagel was the perfect recommendation, the veggies tasted fresh, and his smoked salmon was great. I've returned many times since then and tried a few different items and a couple different bagels and have never been disappointed. I've recommended this place to all of my friends looking for a quick bite to eat (as you can take your food to go or use their drive-thru as well) that doesn't leave you feeling greasy or dissatisfied like your average mind-numbing fast food. My only complaint is how busy it gets at certain times, but their quick service usually keeps the lines moving at a reasonable pace. read more

The orange juice seems to be fresh squeezed. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are delicious! I got the ham and Swiss breakfast bagel so it came with an egg on it. My husband got the farmhouse breakfast bagel and said it was delicious too. The staff was extremely friendly too. We'll definitely be back! read more

This caribou has the s l o w e s t service ever. I go to school nearby so I've been there a few times and every time is slower than the last. Last time I was there I ordered a coffee and a bagel and paid $10. I then waited 45 minutes for my bagel and then once I finally got it they said "I never ordered it so I got it for free" when I know for a fact (on my receipt) that I paid for it. Never going back to this location!!!! read more

Terrible experience, most of my order was wrong and when I tried to call the manager to make it right, they just weren't that interested. I went through the drive through of the Caribou Coffee & Einstein Bros Bagel on S. Columbia Rd. I got my order and went home. Upon arriving home I discovered that two sandwiches that I requested with no cheese on them had cheese on them and the bagel the plain everything bagel had veggie cream cheese on it. I called the store and requested a manager and was told that they were too busy and would call me back within an hour. Over three hours later I got a call back. When they asked how they could make it right, I said they could give me a gift card for those items value. The manager told me that what she would do is leave a note at the drive through window so that the next time I came through I could get those items, not a gift card for the value. Terrible customer service. If you must go there, make sure you check everything before you leave the window. read more

Good coffee and pretty solid food. The Schmearfuls are spot on. The avocado toast is really nice. I don't care for some of the unnecessary stuff like a chalkboard asking about women people admire and some goof puts down Kaitlyn Jenner. At least police things like this. Bathroom wasnt the cleanest. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice place for coffee and a snack. read more

This coffee shop is close to my place and has a nice atmosphere with couches, plenty of tables and outlets for anyone who needs to be on a computer for work or school. Unfortunately, the internet is brutally slow. They've just changed their closing hours from 9pm to 7pm. I actually found out about the change in time when I ordered my drink, sat down, and had my computer ready to go for some homework. The drinks have always been inconsistent, and this time was made poorly. I didn't even bother to drink it. I drove straight to Starbucks. In contrast, Starbucks closes at 10pm and their internet is far, far superior to Caribou. They are a bit small, so finding seating can be a challenge at both locations. The new location on Demers and South Washington should change that. Starbucks is worth the couple extra minute drive. I'm not wasting my time at Caribou anymore. read more
