Amazing Caribbean food…read more We had the goat curry roti (mind the bones which can be a bit sharp), jerk chicken, and double (actually we had 3 doubles since the first one was so tasty and cheap at $3.40 each! In 2025!). Flavours were to die for and the meat was cooked perfectly. Portions were generous and $45 bought us enough food for 3 meals between two people. The place is a tiny hole in the wall with two stools against a small bar - more of a takeout joint. The guy who runs the place was lovely and enthusiastic about the food. A great find. They have enough space for a few people to dine in which is nice. The fried chicken was juicy and seasoned so well. The Jamaican patties had a nice flavour. The crust was nice and flaky without being dry. The BBQ chicken was very flavour and mild. The oxtail gravy over the rice and peas was a hit. Honestly this place had the best rice and peas I have ever tried and I'm not a fan of rice and peas but I am a fan of theirs and will be getting it again. The Roti was incredible. It was wet and full of flavour. Definitely the best roti I've tried in Hamilton or surrounding areas. From now on this will be my spot for Caribbean food. I would travel far for this... but luckily I don't have too :)!

We had the goat roti, beef roti, vegetable roti and doubles. All of them were so tasty. The only thing that I would caution is that they have a lot of spice. Even level 2 was very, very spicy. I got level four for my goat roti and it was too spicy for me. However, that didn't stop me from eating it all! We also had catering for their curry chicken and curry chick peas for Christmas dinner. She's very friendly and ensured that we got the soda can that is included in the lunch combo (which we wouldn't have known otherwise). The food itself is good, just like how caribbean food should taste like. The chicken is tender and the curry is flavourful. Similarly, the jerk chicken is also delicious. I would come here again in a heartbeat if I was in the neighborhood and I'm craving Jamaican food. You also can't beat the price for lunch special. $7 for a small plate of curry chicken with rice and peas and pop is pretty good if you ask me. There's a small dining area of three tables so if you're planning on a take-out, this is the place. The ambiance is authentic Jamaican. There's also plenty of free parking available as this restaurant is situated in a big plaza. I've been wanting to try the patties as well but they seem to run out very quickly. Until next time!

It's a walk-in place only, the atmosphere isn't highly developed -- this gets me excited 'cause I know that means the food is good enough to speak for itself. I can't speak for all the menu items here, but everything I've tried has been delicious! (my favourite being the goat curry roti) In addition, they're open 'til 3am on bar nights and offer "doubles", a classic caribbean snack that's basically a chickpea-pastry sandwich, for only $1.50! Its location in the center of downtown, the friendly service, and the delicious food make this place a must for anyone looking to explore what Guelph has to offer.

I doubt anybody else did. They go on about how I clicked. A button and completed it. I'm like no that didn't happen an doubt it's even possible. I'm a customer. Not a driver. I ordered, paid and here to pick it up simple. Then a customer gets in on the conversation. Meanwhile I'm clam the whole time. He goes absurd and crazy telling me relax. I'm like I'm relaxed. What did I do wrong? I order , paid , what's the status of my food? They continue to act ignorant and yell and try me to relax. I reiterated what did I do wrong? They finally agree and that I I'm in the right and my food will be in the way. Wow. Couldn't say that from the start? Without being verbally attacked and saying you're right and I'm wrong? So I wait no words. Drivers are coming and every interaction is negative. Literally. I waited patiently and my I'm comes in and like wtf? I'm like don't worry relax it is what it is. By this point I'm not even sure if they acknowledge that my food is coming. Even the clown who argued in the business behalf starts complaining about his order. Wow. Disgusting.
