From the time the puppies were born to the pick-up date (and even thereafter), Sarah sent regular updates on the puppies' weight, health and growing, including many pictures and videos! She was and still is always available for questions. She cares a lot for the health and development of the puppies she raises (e.g. pre-pregnancy DNA-testing, vet visits, vaccines, deworming, early neurological stimulation, etc.) as well as the health of the parent/mother dogs, who are raised with love by her family and other guardian families. To us it spoke volumes that she is not afraid to spay a female if the pregnancy was too stressful or a health risk for the dog. You could tell that the Cavapoo puppy we took home was previously in good care and around people (a big thanks to her daughter helpers) and a very healthy, happy and playful dog, which were also the words of our own vet. As first time dog owners, we are so thankful we came across Cariad Doodles and Sarah. We had been referred to another breeder and after a few misses in communication, we had decided to seek out another option. We had reached out to Sarah and her communication exceeded expectations. She took the time to listen and provided us with enough information (including a FaceTime session her two bernadoodle litters) to make a decision. We had one of the last pick's, but feel we got the best pup! Our now 3 month old Bernadoodle is great with our kids (thanks to all the Iove he received from Sarah's children), slept in the crate through the night since his 3rd night home, and has only had a few accidents which were of course our fault! Sarah had socialized the pups and he came with basic training. She prepared us so well providing the information to set up our homes, puppy training session, and how to continue to socialize our puppies. We constantly get compliments on how handsome and well-behaved our Dutch is. We got our bernedoodle from Cariad Doodles, and we could not love him more! He is super sweet and snuggly, and he gets along well with everyone! Our neighbor's shih tzu and mini ausie are also showing up at our door looking for Finn to play. Sarah has the sweetest children, and we are so grateful for the time they spent with Finn before he came home to us. He is so great and gentle with our nieces and nephew (7, 5, and 5), which is very impressive for a 3 month old puppy! He learned to go to the backdoor to let us know when he needs to go out the very day we brought him home thanks to the crate training Cariad Doodles provided. Sarah kept us informed throughout the entire process from the time we inquired about a puppy last summer through the time we picked up our puppy this April! I have to agree 100% with the other positive and outstanding reviews of Cariad Doodles and Sarah. The experience is one that I feel you're not going to get with just any breeder. Our bernedoodle came home so well-rounded, pretty much potty and crate trained and slept through the night from her first night home. She is absolutely perfect in every way possible. Sarah was always so responsive and never made me feel like I was bothering her. She sent out weekly updates, and continues to keep in touch even after the puppies are now in their fur-ever homes.
