Workout gear, swim suits, polo shirts for my son & cute trinkets. You've gained new customers until we are sized out. Can't wait to come back. Since my original review in 2023, Buttons Bows and Britches has moved to a new location on…read moreBrownsboro Road. The store at the new location seemed smaller, but I am not a good judge of square footage! Upon entering we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed any help. The staff were super friendly and eager to help. The front half of the store has new items for sale, and the consigned items are in the back half of the store. The clothing and other items continue to be beautifully arranged and it is easy to find the size that you are looking for. The consigned items are in great shape, without fading, tearing, or pilling. I found the consignment prices on this visit to be a bit higher than those at other consignment stores. Most of the infant and 0-3 month onesies and other items were priced $10-18 dollars, and some at $24. We did find a few items that we felt were reasonable and were surprised at the register to discover that they were also 20% off. Shopping local benefits the seller and buying consigned items is better for the environment than buying everything new. Check out Buttons Bows and Britches! The store is in a small strip mall and has plenty of dedicated parking.

I was recommended to make a visit when buying a baby shower gift for my friends baby girl! Upon walking in, you are greeted with a smile and bright colors all around. I am not a master in shopping when it comes to kids, so I was a tad overwhelmed. I had the sweet lady at the cashier help me. Although, I did not purchase anything (I was looking for books)... I enjoyed the atmosphere and energy in the room. Great add to Louisville!!!

When I found out I was pregnant last year I searched for children's boutiques in Louisville where I…read morecould find traditional styles. I was disappointed when my search turned up only one, however I was delighted once I visited the store. Animal Crackers has a great selection of clothes for babies and kids and carries the labels I was looking for: Feltman Brothers, Kissy Kissy, Feather Baby and Mayoral. The pieces are perfect to purchase for your own kids or to give as a gift. They have timeless everyday and seasonal items and smocking galore! I wish they had a larger selection of gender neutral take-home gowns, but I'm probably in the minority as we waited to find out what we were having. Animal Crackers is the best I have found for children's clothing in Louisville. Definitely worth a trip!
