Today a cordiology visit. This should be fairly simple. This morning I removed the heart monitor…read morethat I had on the last two weeks. And here today to get a new one put on for the next two weeks. 2 weeks ago when they put the monitor on me to wear. I realize it's something you don't just get use to wearing. I was always wondering what readings of my heart it is transmitting. It's stressful in itself. But it is what was necessary to get to the bottom of why I am having multiple silent strokes. There is only one review for this place. I personally have not had any issues with billing or any doctors coming in my 2 visits. My bill is clear and correct. The doctors and nurses have listened to me when I share how I been feeling between appointments. In the hospital they couldn't give me an explanation of anything that could be triggering my body. Since my first visit here, and this review bring my 2nd visit. I feel confident some type of explanation will be found. I used valet for the 2nd time. They charge the same fee as the parking lot directly across the street. But you spend couple more dollars for tip. It's worth it, considering the parking lot fills up fast with people that work in the area. Melissa who put the transmitting device on me is extremely nice and great at her job. Since I've had choices of which location I wanted to go to. I'm glad I picked this office.

(((NO STARS))) What…read morea bunch of imbeciles in their billing department. Today, I received a bill. The bill was for the entire amount of a service I had no idea that was preformed. WHY!!!!! They claim I called in and supplied them with bogus insurance info. Not true, I never heard of these people nor had any idea they were involved in my surgery, so why would I ever call them? On their bill, no date of service, no doctor name, just an amount of $128.00 overdue by 30 days. If you wanna get paid..... try billing correctly! DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Parking is not the best. After driving through the huge parking facility directly across the…read morestreet. I had to exit the garage and use Valet service out front the building. Once I got to the receptionist sign in desk. I was promptly welcomed and checked in with no problems. It was one of the quickest Dr office check in I think I ever had as a first time visitor. Got my vitals checked and waited for the Neurologist to come to my room. This took approximately 10 mind. Not bad at all. And the in depth talk we had about my TIA event was very good. She listened to everything and asked additional questions of my situation to understand clearly what I went through before giving ideas of what we should try . When I was in the hospital in Nov. No one could give me a clear understanding of what my body was going through, and that was the same for seeing my primary doctor. So for the first time I feel like I have a understanding of what happens to the body before a stroke. Of course there's no scientific facts they can tell me. But to have a understanding alone is helpful. I'm glad I chose this place

While this Hospital may have very good doctors the neurology department at 10 Plum Street in my…read moreexperience is sorely lacking in terms of its professionalism and sensitivity to medical information. My HIPAA protected medical information was treated with no regard by the administrative staff and the physician assistant who actually took it from me ( specifically CDs of MRIs from previous hospitals). I was advised that my medical records would be mailed to me with the presumption that my medical information would be handled with sensitivity . Instead, beyond completely neglecting to return my CDs .. (after a month and a half they were never returned to me) ,they advised me they would send it out regular mail. I have to ask rhetorically who would handle such sensitive information with such carelessness and disregard? After several phone calls and emails I was completely ignored and then when I went to speak to the Patient Experience Department in RWJ they did nothing to facilitate the return of my CDs. Instead I received phone calls from people who did not identify themselves or their position claiming that they was sent out when they weren't without any tracking information and no idea where my CDs actually went. If you want a good doctor go elsewhere. The staff is poorly trained and clearly has no customer service skills or knowledge how to handle HIPAA of protected medical information. Even when I emailed the neuro- surgeon to see where my CDs were , I was ignored. Completely unprofessional group of people. Someone is clearly not paying attention to things in this facility.

A modern facility with a wide range of services and excellent quality of care. The outpatient…read moresurgery unit runs like a well-oiled machine, and the staff seem very organized and efficient. My only complaint is that the collections process feels a bit overzealous. They start calling patients for payment days before the service is even provided. It can feel a little pushy.

They misgendered…read moreme multiple times ( I am a cisgender male), accused my partner at the time of tampering with my medications because the nurses looked at an outdated blood test rather than the current one performed ( in fact, they themselves admitted that they messed up, but did not reflect in the notes), and they put down the wrong hospital (There is a witness.) if you are LGBTQ+ do not even bother here either. If you have concerns or scared for your rights being taken away and express that clearly and coherently, they will flat right dismiss you in your notes, just not in your face.. Worse is if you want to request a change to reflect any wrong information, they will lead you to department after department without any real progress. Effectively putting you into a circle. If you have positive feelings about the hospital then more power to you. Its great that you got good quality care from the doctor that treated you. This is just my experience.

I've been going to RWJBH Wound Care in New Brunswick since 2013 with Dr. Richard Schachter, and…read moreover the years I've seen some staff changes. Everyone has always been nice, but this current team is by far the best staff yet. Dr. Richard Schachter is awesome and truly cares about getting your wounds healed. He goes above and beyond, trying every possible option while others may immediately consider amputation. His dedication, compassion, and commitment to his patients are exceptional. Director Anna is professional, friendly, caring, and truly dedicated to her patients and staff. She follows through on concerns and patient needs and makes sure things get done. She works very well alongside Dr. Schachter and the nurses, creating a team environment where everyone communicates and supports each other. Her leadership and attention to detail help make the office run smoothly and make patients feel heard and cared for. Nurses Patty, Caroline, and Guercy are knowledgeable, compassionate, and work very well together. They communicate effectively about their patients' needs, which makes a huge difference in care. The front desk staff, Leslie and Nicole, are super nice, welcoming, and always accommodating with scheduling and patient needs. July in Hyperbaric is funny and always knows how to make you laugh. Somehow every conversation ends up being about food and guys, which always adds smiles and humor to the day. Her personality helps create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. This team makes patients feel cared for, respected, and supported. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

I had a small one day procedure was told to come in at 7:30 am. I got their early bc didnt know how traffic would be and paperwork. Lol. Sat in waiting room for quite awhile before they even took me. Then finally went in put on that lovely gown. The nurse had a very difficult time finding a vein for IV Boo!!! 2 sticks later...and painful. She was very apologetic and showed great empathy.. she gave me a warm blanket. All the people that needed to speak to me, spoke to me and didnt treat me like I was an idiot. Even the dr. That was giving me anesthesia he was super duper nice. My doctor came in explained things in great detail even his intern. Which was so nice. Although I'm not a fan of st. Peters hospital, it was a very pleasant experience. So why only 3 stars? I ended up being there for 5 and a half hours. The first time I had this procedure at another facility I wasnt there that long of a time and pain meds were better. Lol So hopefully I dont have to go back..next time it will probably take 8 hrs. I guess that's what they mean by same day procedure as long as it's in that "time window" lol. So if you have to go here be prepared to be their quite awhile but the staff definitely make up for it..sometimes..
