    the office

This place is super unprofessional if your in need in real Urgent care no NOT come here they said if i made a appointment i would be first, no they still had me waiting which is not a big deal but the part that really got on my nerves is when i actually got into the office they had me waiting another 40mins i would understand if they were busy but no they were not it was me and one other person there, you could just hear nurses and doctors joking and talking outside my room had me waiting. This was my 2nd time going here i didn't really think about it the 1st time but doing this 2 times in a row is super annoying they were just gossiping about some other worker there for a whole 30mins outside my room if it let me submit a video i would. Not saying they don't do there job right i'm just saying they play to much

Most days - one doctor on staff. When you check in online and they call you in, still expect to wait 1.5 - 2 hours. As I have said before - it's just not a well run operation. They also got a diagnosis incorrect once and only realized after I went to my GP. I really don't understand why they wouldn't utilize the online check in system better. The point is to minimize wait but it does none of that. Also, hire more medical professionals who can see patients. Pay them well - I'm sure you all make enough out of this operation. This is a total last resort place.

No one in sure, been here two hours.

I had 72 hours to complete my screen and didn't have enough time to make an appointment so I did a walk in. The waiting room was fairly small with around 15-20 seats if I'm not mistaken. Check in was fairly simple and I signed the screen by the reception area. I was asked if I had an appointment and I notified them I was a walk in. They notified me it would be around 1hr and 30 min wait. I showed them my barcode for my drug screen and they had me fill out the necessary paperwork. From the moment I walked up to the counter, everyone was so nice and helpful. I was able To wait around 30 minutes since I was a drug screen. The staff did a great job of keeping me informed of the next steps and made this screen a breeze.

okay this will be a very long and worth it review…read more i visited carenow on wednesday 11/26 due to some symptoms that started on sunday the week before, 11/16 and had been seen by a physician at dignity health on the thursday 11/20 that previous week. i had horrible pain on the right side of my ribs/lungs and held it off and said it was acid reflux.. well it ended up getting worse and the following tuesday, 11/18 it literally felt like i had 2 heart attacks. i didnt know what it was considering i am very, very young for a heart attack i shook it off and was okay the next day, wednesday. either way, i knew it was something wrong and i met with a doctor at d.h. and told them my symptoms. they order an EKG, and i get referred out to a bunch of different doctors, (cardiologist, physical therapy, regular therapy, bloodwork, etc...) the doctor tells me i have crazy levels of anxiety and im too stressed out and writes me a prescription for anxiety meds and lidocaine patches because i have horrible back pain aswell. the anxiety meds dont work and i put 2 too many lidocaine patches on my back so im believed to have lidocaine poisoning... i am throwing up sick, thursday-saturday night. sunday i have work, monday i throw up in the morning but i have to go to work and school so im like whatever... my pain was literally unbearable, im calling the telenurse provided by my insurance and she's unsure of what it is and tells me i need to be re-evaluated by some one, i ended up calling the doctor from d.h. and was met with some passive aggressive comment, "i wrote you a prescription to use one lidocaine patch, why would you think about using two more?" for one, i am in PAIN! and for two, i misread, i am sorry! well, tuesday night i am okay and wednesday morning comes by and i decide to go to THIS URGENT CARE! i am seen almost immediately and tell the doctor my symptoms. he runs an EKG on me and tells me my EKG looks bad. are you kidding me?? i just had one done not too long ago after my heart attack episode!!! why wouldn't it be caught then!!? he then proceeds to tell me that i don't look good, i honestly don't. i felt horrible at this point, i couldn't walk properly and i couldn't breathe. my heart had hurt so very bad and i wanted it to be over with. he tells me, "you aren't taking this seriously! i don't understand why?" reality had hit, and he ordered me to get driven to the emergency room due to my ekg looking bad. my mom drove me, im getting blood drawn and my LIVER IS FAILING! what??? they did a ultrasound and found that my gallbladder is inflamed. then i get sent to the hospital, to which my gallbladder is FILLED with stones and im fighting a horrible infection and literally dying and going septic. IF IT WASNT FOR THIS DOCTOR, DOCTOR WU!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULDVE DIED! thank you for saving my life!!!!!!!!!

*This review is for Adult Medicine*…read more Drove my mom to SW Medical today, 4/10/2026, for blood work and a doctor appointment. My Mom has to use her double wide manual wheelchair for appointments instead of her electric wheelchair because RTC Paratransit doesn't pick up in my neighborhood (she lives with me). The manual chair is so wide that she has to stand up and use her walker to get through the doors to the exam rooms, I have to fold the chair to get it through the door, and then, once we're through the door, I open the chair so she can sit back down. It really wears her out. By the time we got upstairs to Adult Medicine for her doctor appointment, she was completely pooped. The nurse who called her back, got two other nurses to assist us getting from the waiting room to the back. After the appointment, there were literally like 5 people- nurses and doctors- who came to assist my Mom out of the room. Two nurses then escorted us to the service elevator and out the ambulance entrance so Mom wouldn't have to stand up again to get back into the main lobby. They also pushed her to the car and helped her get in the car. I just want to commend the staff in the Adult Medicine department. You made my Mom's day. She said she felt like she was getting the VIP treatment. These days, that kind of customer service in medical establishments is rare. Thank you and may God bless you all!

I had a C-section for my first baby on the 24th and was told by my delivering doctor that I would need to be seen by an MD within the same week to have my bandage removed and incision looked at. My primary OB office (Sienna) didn't have any appointments available with any of the MDs so I had to go to this grand montecito location. This location is a 40 minute drive for me mind you. After being taken to the exam room and talking with the nurse, we overheard the nurse and Dr. Maligaya questioning why I was in office and saying that I am being seen way too early. She didn't even want to see me and had the nurse come in to tell me that I shouldn't be seen for another 2 weeks and to turn me away. I informed her that I was told by my delivering doctor that I needed to be seen by an MD the same week and I was just following instruction. I was also attached to a battery powered suction device underneath my bandage that only had a 5 day battery life. The nurse leaves the room and Dr. Maligaya walks in, again, questioning why I was there in the first place. I told her as I told the nurse that I was just following the direction of my delivering doctor and my incision needs to be checked and the suction device needs to be removed. After going back and forth for a bit, she smacked the exam bed and said "well let's go, let's remove it then". My husband had to step in and tell her that we are just going to leave because she clearly was very rude, wasn't listening to me or believing me about the instructions I was following from my delivering doctor, and made me feel like she didn't know what she was doing. I drove the 40 minutes to this location 4 days after my C-section, in pain, with a newborn just to be treated like this. Never going to this location or seeing this doctor again.
