I am a Veteran and was very happy to learn that Community Care is accepted here. I checked in online, and when I arrived, the staff was ready and waiting. I had been feeling sick over the weekend, and unfortunately, the VA was not open, so I was really grateful for their help. They took the time to listen to my needs, showed genuine compassion, and were very respectful, understanding, and informative. The facility itself was extremely clean, which made the experience even better! I want to give a huge thank you to the team at Horne. So my first experience was not the greatest thing, but yes. The Dr and nurses were extremely emphatic and also treated me like I was human instead of patient. The first batch I ran into have been desensitized. But the 2nd and 3rd are heaven sent. I forget her name and she tells me both times wish she was my primary Dr.. and the nurses were also great . They made me feel safe coming back to Carenow. People stay away from Dr offices bc of the first batch especially when you're in a great deal of pain the last thing you need is to feel like you're a bother... Waited over an hour for a workers comp recheck , for the doctor to come in and look at my finger for two seconds and tell me I can be released. Seems like there is no sense of urgency and doctor just takes his time, I get when the office is busy but when I came in there was 1 other person in waiting room. I want to care now on January 23rd 2023 for treatment. I paid them my copay and never heard anything from them until October of 2024 when they sent me a bill for $43.58. The due date on the bill is October 20th 2024. I went on their website six times over a weeks time and it kept telling me my balance due was Zero. Then I get a letter from a collection agency dated October 1st 2024. So I don't know how I get turned into collections before the due date on the bill that really should have been billed a year and a half ago. I strongly suggest that nobody use care now! read more

I made my appointment online. I got there one minute after the given time. I checked in on the tablet. After waiting 20 minutes I got a text saying they were holding a place for me. I went to reception and she gave me paperwork to fill out. I had already done so on computer. I waited another 50 minutes before I got called to go back. Then in room for the doctor for another 8 minutes. The place is very cold so dress accordingly. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and once I saw him, I was able to leave quickly-after paying my $40 co-pay. read more

Found through BCBS, advised to use their online check in tool, someone calls wanting to know emploers information. This is where it goes downhill. I called prior to CareNow telling mento check in online. They then call back stating "if it's federal we can't see you" Mind you I found them through my insurance. When I told the caller to just cancel, she hung up on me after smacking her lips. Trash. Just believe the other reviews, save yourself the trouble and choose any other provider. read more

Wowza!! So many bad reviews from others. This has been my main go-to place when I need a last minute appointment. Here's some tips that might make your experience better: 1. Check in online 2. Complete ever single thing possible online. Upload your DL, insurance card etc. whatever they ask for. 3. You can call ahead and see how long the wait "might" be but they can't give you an exact. 4. They will call AND text you to let you know when to come in. Stay home until then! I saw one guy walk in and said he had a 2pm appointment but was surprised when they told him they hadn't called him yet and the wait was still going to be a couple hours. He left. So know you have to stay HOME until then unless you have a burning desire to sit in a waiting room with sick people. 4. Bring a book or something else to keep you occupied. I went and was called back in about 10-15 min. They did a test and then left and it took almost an hour for them to come back in the room. The nurse came back after about 45 min and asked if I wanted water or a blanket and told me the doctor had to do a triage and apologized for the long wait. So come prepared. At least I was in a room alone and not in the waiting room. Every place is short staffed. It is what it is. I read one review that said the staff will tell you that...because it's true and it's everywhere in the medical field. It sucks. I get it. But medical offices don't want to be in that situation and they'd hire more people if they could. It's not just carenow. The staff is friendly. The doctors have always been nice. They aren't there to be your Primary Care doc but in a same day situation it works. read more

When a person goes to the doctor is because is sick...not feeling well... in pain and discomfort... A doctor is expected to provide prompt care with empathy and respect and bring comfort to the patient. Sadly this did not occur today. I rook my wife to this location to get treatment and the morning doctor was extremely rude and condescending. Told her that she had no issues even though she had pain. He reluctantly gave her a prescription but treated so roughly to the point of rubbing in her face (figuratively) his doctoral degree and years of experience; she left the office distressed and cried all the way back home... Is that how a health professional is supposed to attend to a patient???? You decide..... On the other hand the other personnel there were nice and friendly... not the doctor..yes..the one with "higher education".... Disappointing and sad! read more

So I have decided to change my review of this CareNow. A few years ago I had a bad experience here. I found out this was mainly due to my insurance company at the time. Now that I am on a different insurance plan, I had no issues as far as price goes. I now don't think this was Care Now, but a crappy insurance company. I really liked the staff. Everyone was professional and friendly. I really liked the doctor this go around to. He listened to my symptoms, and I got the care I needed. I was pretty sick and anxious how I would be treated in this Covid era. I am happy to say I was treated like a human being and everyone was very professional. The only reason I didn't go to 5 stars is the waiting room looked like it had not been mopped or adequately clean in a while. All of the medical areas where perfectly clean. read more

I was misdiagnosed at the time of my service. She was quick to tell me I had pick eye, when I had no other symptoms, other than red eyes... Unfortunately, 3 days later, I went to a SPECIALIST, and I had a much more serious condition, that I am still treating to this day! My wife went there for simple pain in her hands and wrist. Doctors continually tried to press for more tests and more tests and more tests. Basically they are just a human cash register trying to get as much money out of you as possible. We knew what the problem was from our primary care physician but they were closed today. Just went in to see if she could get either a topical or some type of medicine to help with her arthritis pain but no they wanted to do all sorts of tests to see exactly what type of arthritis it was. Horrible. Again. This time it was the Horne St location. Wife went in with a nasty cough, the kind that comes from your heels. Gave her an antibiotic and sent here on her way. Went out of town for two days and had to come back she felt so bad. Went back in yesterday. Keep the same crappy antibiotics, steroid shot, 5 days worth of steroid pills (not a Z pack) and some cough medicine in pill form. She's there again today with the same cough. Did have a covid test and it was negative. This is the third separate instance that the staff at Care Non has failed to treat one of our family members properly. It's outrageous. It's akin to having a migraine and being administered a baby aspirin. Second time they give you two and one Tylenol. No idea what they'll say today. Maybe they'll recommend she stand on her head and spit wooden nickles. NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY. read more

Was checked in at 9:07 am and was told to come in, that I had a room ready. Arrived within 6 mins. Waited in the waiting room for 1.5 hr. Went to my room, proceeded to wait another 2 hrs without a single person checking on me. I asked the nurse who much longer it was going to take and she wouldn't even give me a direct answer (which I get I guess because she honestly didn't know). Her only solution was to send me to another care now for a wait of an 1-3 hours. I left. The waiting room was completely empty when I walked out. I don't know if they forgot about me or the doctor just walked out or what, but it was the most frustrating and unacceptable health care experience I've ever received without ever even seeing a doctor! read more

I went back to this facilities on Wednesday. The prescribed steroids didn't help so much. And I decided to check with a doctor if something is wrong. Dr. Myra Liu was taking care of me. I absolutely amazed by the way she treated me and listened to my concerns and complaints about my heal tissue. She was polite, friendly and patient with me. She prescribed a medicine that should be a mix of several different ingredients. I am not sure how she chose these ingredients but in TWO DAYS my strong cough stopped. Dr. Liu is very knowledgeable. Trust me I am so picky when it comes to doctors, chiropractors, cosmetologists. But this doctor is awesome! I hope she can take me as her regular patient. If I could give 10 stars, I still would give 10 plus!!! I highly recommend this doctor to anyone. read more

I had breathing issues and was taken swiftly. There is an inherited wait time as with any medicine services but they also have an online check in option which is very convenient and helpful. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The crew is very diligent with their paperwork and they operated seamlessly. I was very pleased with my care from start to finish. I'm On day 2 of treatment for Bacterial Pneumonia and I can say that I'm 200% better already. Excellent experience considering they I've been brought back to life per-say. Please keep in mind that the issues that I have encountered are completely at fault of the educators of these doctors and not the doctors or staff themselves. On a groggy Friday morning my father had driven me to this facility after I had self diagnosed myself with having the flu. The place seemed nice at first, but my opinion quickly changed after having to wait an hour and a half to see a doctor. This kind and polite doctor listened to me explain my symptoms, then without running a single test or doing any bloodwork she diagnosed me with having the flu and a sinus infection. The doctor then explained that a steroid shot was not an option because I only weighed 120 pounds. Not only does that not make sense, but it also put me in an unforgettable situation. The doctor then prescribed me amoxicillin, admittedly I felt much better after two days of taking this however on the third morning my skin had broken out in massive welts that were unbearably painful. This problem was solved by not continuing taking the pill. The real problem came the next day when I had gone to a trusted doctor who gave me a steroid shot. About an hour later I had stopped urinating and started to worry. I just decided to wait and see what happens. About nine hours had passed when I still could not urinate, I decided to go to bed and see if I could go in the morning. At about three in the morning the next day I had awoken felling immense pain in my Blatter, so I decided to drive to the emergency room. This hospital was stocked with experienced doctors and nurses that swiftly helped improve my problem. The second my doctor walked in the room she asked if I had taken amoxicillin or penicillin, after admitting to taking the medication the doctor had told me that the drug had crystallized my urine and the only non-surgical way to get it out was through a catheter. When the catheter was put in, about two liters of urine drained from my Blatter. The doctor had then said that I had experienced about 17 times the amount of pain than I would have with a kidney stone. At the time that the catheter was put in I had not urinated in 26 hours. read more

I asked the front desk girl about it and she said she'd check. Nothing!! I asked her again 30 minutes later. My experience started out great but ended poorly. Started feeling ill on Saturday; decided to go to CareNow on Sunday. Checked in online, got a call that it would be about an hour and it was. They saw me quickly. The nurse was friendly. The doctor was knowledgable. I was diagnosed and treated on site although the nature of my condition was serious enough that they almost admitted me to the ER. Bloodwork was sent to labs and was told results would take 24 hours. The doctor strongly advised for a follow up in 2 days. This is where it goes south. Before we left I asked the attending nurse if a follow up visit was an additional cost. We were told NO. That turned out to be incorrect. Fast forward to Tuesday follow up - same process - scheduled online, went in when called. But upon check in was told that I would have to pay again. When I disputed this, based on what I was told prior, everyone working there got the deer-in-the-headlights look. No one had an answer other than that I would have to pay again. Not even the doctor came out to address the concern. All they did was give me my paperwork (which I had to press them to do) and cancel my appointment. They had no idea what to do. Customer service = 0. It's less about the money and more about the principle. If the doctor says they want you to come back, then be clear about the associated fees. And if someone tells you there's no fee, then there should be no fee. Or, that person needs some re-education and the patient deserves a sincere apology and some kind of explanation or compromise. I received none of that. Also, a different nurse who took my blood and urine told me that my lab results would be back in 24 hours. This was another bit of misinformation as the results were still not back 2 days later. She was generally unpleasant. (Honey, if you don't like the job you're doing - go do something else. I was an easy patient - I can't imagine how you would behave with someone who was hysterical or in dire need of medical care.) I would have rated this place 4 stars, but the way I was treated at the end knocked off a lot of points. Lying to people and wasting their time is not good business or "care". This CareNow needs a major lesson in Customer Service and truthful communication. The staff may be trained to give treatment, but their people skills leave a lot to be desired. CareNow? I came in for a simple blood draw and they used the wrong tube. So I came in again and they used the wrong tube AGAIN. So I have to come in for THIRD time for a simple blood draw because they can't figure out which tube is which. I HATE getting my blood drawn so this is a giant unnecessary stress for me. Amazing experience at this location! Both times I've been at this location and everything was spot on. I pre-checked in and they called me when my appointment was ready! Wow! Once I arrived I maybe had to wait 5 minutes to be seen. The providers and nurses were so kind and I never felt rushed even though I knew there were others in the waiting room. They lost my prescription and could not tell me where it was sent. When I called to get it resolved they had no idea where they even sent it in the first place. Pathetic. I was told to stop taking my other medicines when they first said the new ones were sent in. So I have now failed to take any medicine that will help resolve my issues or the pain, waiting on them to fix their mistake. Would recommend another urgent care clinic, one that actually is urgent. Edit: after multiple phone calls between my pharmacy and the clinic, I spoke to someone who was able to properly explain and resolve the issue. I've never actually utilized this facility but that might be because the wait time is ridiculous for walkin's. The first time I was told 1.5 to 2 hours. The second I was told 3-3.5 hours. Mind you both times the facility had at least 3 people waiting in the lobby with doctors in the back. I do understand there is an online system in order to set up appointment times. This information I didn't know when first going in. However I was told it helps with the process, but doesn't necessarily promise a speedy time to be seen. I was having pain got into urgent care since I couldn't get in with my Dr. right away. Had to pay $50 for a copay and they said nothing was wrong. I went in to do a drug test for a pre-employment job with Spectrum and waited over an hour to be helped. When I arrived there was only 3 people in the lobby. I filled out all my information in less than 5 minutes handed it to the front desk manager Sandra & waited. 30 minutes went by and I told Sandra the front desk manager after seeing more people come & leave I really had to pee & didn't want to miss my opportunity to prescreen for my drug test. Sandra informed me that it would it would be just a bit longer.. Now an hour has passed and I am crossing my legs trying to preoccupy myself and be patient. I felt like my bladder was about to burst. I couldn't take it anymore. I told her I wanted my paperwork back and I would go somewhere else. She didn't want to give me my paperwork. I insisted its my information she couldn't keep it. She made a copy of my paperwork and gave me back the originals. I told her she still couldn't take my information but she did anyways. I told her I need my drug test paper work back for my employer so I could go somewhere else. She told me I couldn't have it. So I left without it. I went to my employer to tell them what happened and guess what. She told my employers ( E-screen process) for my pre-employment that I did complete the test. I never even walked passed the front desk. Are you kidding me? This is scandalous. I mean are you so desperate for money that you will lie to ruin someone's job because you do cant do your job. Or is it all about numbers? I even called the corporate office at care now & received no response. I returned a call to the office at care now on horne and the other lady who answered informed me that they didn't put completed. They put rejected. How can you reject something I didn't even get to do.. that doesn't make sense. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION THEY ARE NOT HONEST OR REPUTABLE. read more
