My wife and I arrived around 8:00 a.m., not realizing that the office opened at 8:30 a.m. While we were waiting, the receptionist informed the gentleman ahead of us that he would need to wait until 8:30 after completing his check-in procedure. Therefore, we assumed we would also have to wait. To our surprise, however, she kindly invited us to check in anyway. My blood lab check-in went smoothly, but we later discovered that our doctor had forgotten to place a blood lab order for my wife, even though we have always completed our annual blood tests together over many years. After carefully checking every possible screen in the computer system, she explained that she would contact our doctor's office as soon as it opened at 8:30. While we waited without much expectation, she soon called my wife over and informed her that the doctor's order had been successfully placed. We were truly impressed by her professionalism, dedication, and caring attitude. My wife later found out that her name was Kathleen. She deserves recognition for her extraordinary customer service and commitment to helping patients.

She made me feel comfortable, even though I was nervous. Dr. Filek also checked in with me through the whole process. The numbing process was painful, but she paused and offered breaks when I needed it. She also was very careful with the incisions. She used the smaller scalpel and did small cuts. I got 6 incisions total. They are healing up great. Dr. Filek was truly amazing. Wonderful doctor all around!
