My great-grandmother celebrated her 102nd birthday last week, surrounded by people who truly care for her -- including her two wonderful caregivers, Sarah and Liz. WARNING: My wife hired them to find a homemaker, PRIVATE PAY MIND YOU. The accepted and promised the world. Took 6 weeks to get a person. They claim their people are well trained, A LIE. They claim their people speak and write good english, A LIE. They claim they talk to and pre prep the help with your needs ahead of time, A LIE. They take your money in advance and have an accounting system that isn't standard business practice and is very confusing. It took my wife hours after each bill to reconcile every billing cycle, its a nightmare. After weeks to find someone and the ones they sent were horrible and My wife had to pay them for their inattention. They aren't trained in Sanitary cleaning or proper food handling; they have no experience with modern appliances, and the ones that drive, are a menace on the roads, a few spent more time on their phones than their job. She had one good girl in 8 months, in the end, but she got hurt and eventually had to leave. My wife fired them and in the end they over-charged and stole $280 from her because of their accounting practice and when confronted, they vanished in the wind. DON"T WAISTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! When they send a caregiver, she is usually very good, but it's getting one consistently that is the difficult part. The first good one quit the agency because they wouldn't pay her a higher wage. There were a few others of mixed benefit. The latest one was good, but Caregiver's is playing games with paying her for the work she's done and she keeps "getting sick," leaving me in the middle with no help and no coverage. I don't think they have enough staff to cover all the people they promise help to. I was told the agency was sold last fall -- I don't know if that's true, but it's been a nightmare for a while now. My first case manager left and they didn't tell me; someone new showed up without calling and was extremely unpleasant to me in addition to getting my husband's medical details wrong. The impression I have of them now is chaotic, and that's the last thing I need. They don't tell the caregivers that we have pets (like it should even make a difference) and I've been ghosted several times with claims of "asthma." Find some other agency. read more

I was very disappointed with this agency last year. They immediately said they had the staff to provide the care for my mother. However, no one came in for about two weeks. At times the caregiver my mother had never showed up. I called the agency and asked if I could have another caregiver. They said they would put in someone new but obviously they did not have anyone who would be able to work those days and times that my mother was requesting. It took about another two weeks once again for someone to come in. This agency seems like they say yes to everyone that comes in. However, they do not have the proper staffing in order to fill in the cases. read more

My family has been very pleased with the caregiving services provided for my 90+ year old mother-in-law. Everyone from the office staff to the case managers to my MIL's 2 caregivers have been helpful and show a genuine sense of care for her well being. A big plus for us has been that her caregivers can talk with her in Spanish with her as she has gone back to her native tongue more than English as she ages. We are so thankful to have been referred to such a wonderful agency and would recommend others to seek them out too. read more

My dad signed up for this service and gave them a $200 deposit for care services. No one ever showed up to provide care ( after an initial evaluation and determination of their needs) and they were unreachable. He finally got his deposit back but not without a lot of anguish and phone calls. Buyer beware!! read more

This company is very disorganized. They say that they have the staff they need to send out to patients when they really don't. They will then scramble to find anyone willing to do the job, and most times will tell the caregiver whatever story they think will get them to take the job. Once the caregiver arrives at the house they are stuck there and the patient may be stuck with someone who doesn't really know what they are doing. Every time they send a new caregiver out they will tell you that they are one of the company's best and that they have years of experience. They get the caregivers to lie to the client and tell them that they have so many years experience with the company and have been on various cases for them when most times the caregiver is a new hire. They will also tell you that if they can't find a caregiver to go to your house that they will send someone from the office over until they can find a caregiver, which I have never heard of them actually doing. They will charge you two weeks ahead of time for their services and you have to keep track of that, especially if your caregiver does not show up. They will not refund you the money you already paid for the caregiver that did not show up unless you really go after them for it. The employee turnover rate is astronomical. You can speak to someone one week, call back and ask to speak to the same person, only to find out that said person has left the company. They are supposed to send someone by to do house checks every so often, which they hardly ever do. They can be almost impossible to get in touch with, especially if you are calling to talk to someone specific or about a specific issue. It takes them forever to get back to you, and sometimes they won't unless you hound them. Any supervisor you ever speak to seems to never know about an issue that you may have, even if you have been telling everyone at the company about it for ages. Overall this is a company I would stay away from. They are far more interested in turning a profit than they are in actually having a caregiver available for every client, let alone any backup help. read more
