I was sick to my stomach at the thought of being so far away in Northern California and not being able to surprise her with her traditional birthday morning goodies: flowers, balloons, and Starbucks. The thought of coordinating doordash, uber eats, Instacart, etc. was so daunting. There was no way I could coordinate everyone to show up at the same time and it be as seamless as I wanted it to be AND a surprise. I needed someone live and in person to help me. I googled and yelped errand services/personal assistance in the Irvine area and saw Hummingbird Services. Gay's reviews talked about her kind spirit and reliability. I went for it and WHAT A BLESSING! I am so glad I went with Hummingbird Services. I sent an email with my list of items I needed and when I needed them to show up at my daughter's dorm. Gay was very efficient in her reply. We chatted about more specifics, exchanged numbers, etc. She even offered to pick a bday card out for me which was the icing on the cake. The morning of my daughter's birthday she reached out with her ETA and progress throughout the morning. She even texted me with a picture of the card she had picked out. I was so relieved! I could exhale. My worries of my daughter missing out on her birthday morning surprises went away. I was filled with so much joy and had a full heart the rest of the day. She knew how much this meant and gave 200% to accommodate. She face-timed when she arrived at the dorm so I could see my daughter's face light up. PRICELESS! Gay handled everything enthusiastically, professionally, and motherly. I am so thankful I've found her. When something else comes up while my daughter is away at school, and I need to get her something quickly or special OR WHATEVER, I know Gay is just a phone call away and will come through. I was thisclose to hiring professionals to pack and unpack my things, but luckily we kept some of our stuff packed when we moved into our temporary OC home in anticipation of moving somewhere permanent. So packing was easy, but unpacking was a different story. After the movers left, I sat down on the couch and stared in horror at the mountain of boxes and bins in my living room and kitchen. Feeling completely overwhelmed, I decided to look on Yelp for "Home Organization services" and came across Hummingbird Services. Gay picked up the phone right away, told me how much she charged, and she actually happened to have an opening the very next day. I booked her immediately. Gay is one of the nicest, sweetest people on earth. She completely unpacked and organized our kitchen. She helped us figure out our linen closet. She put all of our books and decorations on our bookshelf. Before she left, she showed us where everything was, and it was just such a glorious sight to come back from furniture shopping and see more than half the boxes empty. We love Gay and the immense help she provided. My husband and I would hire her again in a heartbeat! Elad diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the freezer department repair. Parts were ordered on a Thursday and the repair was completed on the next Tuesday. Elad also told he believed the ice maker would start working within a week, as he felt the repair completed were related. He also gave me a second estimate in case it didn't but suggested I wait. The ice machine started making ice after 5 days which was a great ending. Very impressed with this company and Elad. It is a pleasant surprise to find a technician with integrity that doesn't make unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this business and would use them in the future if needed.
