I just wanted to say that this company was wonderful to work with. We had originally had another company for my father-in-law and they were horrible. They either would not show up, would show up late, or just very mean and hurtful to him. At one point we had to refuse to let one of the people in the house due to how they treated him. So we switched to Heartland and let me tell you it was night and day difference. We immediately (within 24 hours) had them at the house, and had constant care and contact from everyone in that company. They treated him so well (and the family also), with so much respect and love. They even stayed with the family the day he passed until all of our needs were met, and hugged everyone as they went out the door. We were able to call the 24 hour line at any time, and our nurse was available even after hours if we had questions or needed anything. Even the man (I believe his name was Oscar) that delivered the bed just put the whole family at ease, he was the most kindest man and we were so grateful for him and the rest of this team. This company will definitely be our first call if we ever shall need any hospice care in the future!

Very disappointed in the communication and follow thru with care for mom recovering from a surgery…read moreat home. Nurses change abruptly with no notice. Just suddenly they become unavailable until someone new pops into the case. Dr. orders never seem to make it to them. You must stay on top of every thing because the office doesn't seem to manage communication to the ever changing staff well. Very difficult to even reach a person as the phones are not regularly staffed well.
