Horrible service provided by Cards. If there was a negative 100 I would check it. Don't expect them to come do your pick ups in a timely manner, or when they say they WILL!!!! My trash has been out front since Thursday, called 3 times. Was told each time, they would be coming and to leave it out front. Today I called, already irritated that nothing has been picked up in 5 days, and today, I am told: "Oh, we need the $15.00 pick up fee in order to do it." Well, HELLOOOOO, maybe you should have advised that on Thursday, I would have paid it then. Had service with Cards for 4 or so years no problem! Then back in 2023 they were bought by an investment firm called Kinderhook. Obviously just a profit driven business with no care what so ever for customer support. Since then service and quality has significantly decreased! Of all things you have to worry about in life, your trash getting picked up on time shouldn't be one of them. About a month ago I set up auto pay through my bank account (or so I thought) and to my surprise 2 weeks ago now they skipped my house and left my cans full. So, I called and found out I had balance on the account because they simply forgot to click the "automatic payment " button. Still had the bank account information just didn't take the payment! No problem honest mistake, no harm no foul. Just make it right and come get the trash right? No, I got promise after promise for 2 weeks now 24-48 hours someone will be there! Yet there is still 3 full cans out front to this day!!!. I went ahead and got new service with a different trash company but still have to have them get their garbage cans and the garage in them! 2 weeks with 3 full cans in front of your home is inexcusable! I honestly hope enough people leave them so they understand you can't treat people like crap and still make a profit. After having this service for over a year (they took over another company that was servicing me) they now want me to move my can to the next major cross street for pickup. Next cross street is almost an eighth of a mile away (and I am a disabled veteran). Not happening! Their problem appears to be the inability of a "new" driver to navigate my street. Even though I just had a 40 ft container delivered down that street, and several tractor trailers have delivered furniture here, their "new" driver has a problem with it. My street is actually wider and in better condition than the main road it connects that they want me to drag my container to! Nonetheless, their supposedly "new" driver insisted on backing down my street instead of coming down face first and turning around in my driveway as the others have done for the past year. Apparently he got tired of that. Backing the truck down my entire street for pickup? You gotta be kidding me. Really? WTF? Honestly, how do you hire people who cant drive the vehicle? I know 12 year olds who can do this! Biggest complaint? No response from them. They are fast enough to bill you, but won't respond to any problems. The ladies who answer the phones are lovely, but management is horrible. I called 5 days in a row and received assurances management would call me back right away and work it out. No one ever did. They couldn't care less. There is no email listed on their website for a reason. They don't want a record of you continuing to message them with no response! All I asked for was a reason for their problem. No call, no answer, NOTHING. If you don't want my business, fine, I will get someone else but at least respond. There is a good reason they have so many 1 star reviews. Like many others, if I could leave them 0 stars I would. Apparently the drivers pick up when and where they want. Service through this company started out ok when it first aquired our previous service. For some time they got our trash (rural) on a weekly basis. Rarely were we missed with the exception of bad weather. Than the service started to decline and the cost went up. We were skipped three weeks in a row and neighbor was skipped 6 weeks. A call to customer service gave the excuse of a new driver even though he has a list of customers. Additionally, they scheduled a workorder pickup to come get our trash...after 4 days and they never showed, we canceled them and put a bank block on them. We hired another service with better ratings. The nee service is $35 a month for the same amount of trash that CARDS charged $70 for. DO NOT USE CARDS. read more

They have picked up 1 time since this company took over. We had to call to get them to come. Now they haven't picked up for weeks on end. I call and they say they put a work order in, and then I call again, and they say the previous work orders were never put through. Unreal. Bs. I left CARDS about a year ago, for many of the reasons others have cited. However, they reached out to me, and "Matt" agreed when I said they needed to "clean house." I have since spoken and texted with him, they offered a great rate (plus they pick up recycling!), and this morning I spoke at some length with Natalie Jerry, customer service agent, who was WONDERFUL. Answers to all my questions, cordial, considerate, professional. I never thought I would have a good thing to say about CARDS, but those two people are already SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT over my previous communications. They didn't pick up my trash, when called they said I was suppose to put it out the night before. Not notification that it was suppose to be out the night before! this is a terrible garbage company. They bought the Trash Service and we were paying for weekly and was only getting a pick up every two weeks but we're being charged for every week. When I called I was hung up on because they told me I was talking too loud to them so I was not able to get the bill resolved and every month we're getting a bill before the bills even saying we're five days late and if we don't service will be suspended when I had just bill. I was supposed to get callbacks to try to resolve multiple issues. We've got with them and have had no no return call. If I can find a cheaper company in the area, I will most definitely be switching. They are a terrible company with customer service. read more

Iam having to call to have trash picked up when each Tuesday Cards is to empty our dumpster. Cards will pick up my neighbors yet skip ours and if Cards looks into my account I pay as soon as posted to my email. Speaking to them today she was unable to tell me if my trash would be picked up today and my dumpster is full with family coming in for Thanksgiving. I asked to cancel and receive a reimbursement after pick up but she said unable to do any of this and Cards doesn't do reimbursements which as a business myself I find this unacceptable. These are horrible people. They purchased the company I used formerly. I read their requirements and decided I was not interested. So I called a competitor and paid for his service. Even though I did not agree to Card's service, they billed me anyway. I called them again and told them I was not interested and that I use another service. They credited my so-called account for one month's service and set up a cancellation date for two months in the future and let me know they would bill me $23 for service I have not used or agreed to. I called three times to speak to a supervisor. First their operator told me he was in a meeting, but that he would call me later. He never called. When I called back and demanded to speak to a supervisor, I was told that the operator was not allowed to let me speak to a supervisor. They dropped off one of their plastic containers today without talking to me. I called them and told them they were trespassing and to get their container off my property. None of my neighbors are using them, either. What a bunch of Gestopo agents. My lawyer suggested he send them an invoice for $5 per day that they do not pick up their container. read more

They don't even deserve a 1 star.. the worst service ever...they don't make good on their word, they have missed a hand full of pickups back in January and February and missed 2 more this month, when you call in to complain and ask for a partial refund for missing their pickup day they say they can't untill their are 3 more missed, they opened a ticket to do an emergency pick up but you still need to wait 48 hours... and the emergency pickup ticket that they supposedly put in never got put in,so I had to call again. They said they have no communication with the local office (really in 2024 with all this technology) and there is nothing they can do...the supervisor Stacy has poor management skills as she was frustrated and hung up she did not want to escalate the issue to her manager Elaina...Cards your policies are awful and outdated and better training for your management need to be updated as you have offered horrible service. read more

Cards took over from my previous trash company and it has been a nightmare. They didn't send invoices but they were quick to charge late payment, administration and other fees. Their quarterly billings are hard to understand because they charge $15 a month late charge, administration fees monthly. Don't use auto pay. I just got burned on that one. I set up autopay on 3-6 and on 3-8 they deducted $108 for April May and June which was due on 3-26. They didn't send an invoice. They refuse to refund even though I have canceled their services. From what I've learned from other reviews this is their standard operating procedure. No refund, no fault, no cust service and no heart. Don't use Cards. read more

If I could, I would rate Cards at a 0. I started trash service with Cards in December 2023. They take quarterly payments and I paid my quarterly payments each quarter and in September 2024, I paid for Oct, Nov and December 2024. We decided to upgrade to a dumpster and Cards was almost 3x the amount of another provider so we went with another provider. I called on Sept 23rd and cancelled my service. They came and picked up my trash can. Here's the problem. When I called, I asked about a refund for Oct, Nov and Dec and was told it would take about 30 days. 6 weeks go by and no refund. I called them back and now am being told they have a no refund policy. So, I'm being charged for a service that I can't even use because they picked up my trash can. I have called multiple times and am told the same thing. I had a few other issues as well during the course of using them but it's nothing compared to the way they treat their past customers. I'll never use them again and will always recommend to others not to use them as well. Dirtbags. read more

First, I attempted to sign-up online. No response. I waited for a few weeks then called. They were quick to deliver my can and take my money. That was over 3 weeks ago. They haven't been back to empty my trash. I called last week. The lady, Julia, was nice and assured me the trash would be picked up this week. They never showed up! We moved into a new home and dealing with Cards has been the worst part of the entire process. I reached out to set up an account on May 27th. Didn't hear anything back so I called on May 30th to get an account set up. I was told I would have my bins delivered within 48 hours. It's now June 15th and I'm still waiting for my bins. While I have trash accumulating at home. To make things worst, they have the audacity to send me an invoice for service in the 3rd with a due date. I'm still waiting to get service. I since asked to be reimbursed for a delivery fee and for the month of June as I have not been serviced. Every time you ask to be a supervisor, they're always in a meeting. They promise someone will call you back but that never happens. I have gone as far as offering to pick up my own bins but they don't seem to care. Zero stars. This company is horrible. They don't answer their phone...EVER. The trash pick up day changes without notice or they just don't pick up at all. They charge you for 3 months of service in advance and then don't provide the service that you are paying for. My trash has not been picked up for weeks. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges for services not provided. I recommend all of you do the same by calling your bank or credit card company. This company is AWFUL! I recommend you DO NOT use them! Check out their reviews online...Google, Better Business Bureau, etc. It appears that this company just buys out other companies, collects customers money and then doesn't do what they are being paid to do.
