To protect my kids' privacy, I won't say why I pulled my kids. However, in the time that my kids were enrolled, there was a drug bust, lack of Christian character from so many of the kids, bullying, and shockingly, such ungodly behavior. Most of this behavior is from ministers kids. I hate to have to expose this, but not many speak up and instead just turn their heads. The principal does nothing and turns his head to situations that any parent would be ballistic about. Don't waste your money. All schooling is done online. Save your money and protect your kids from the influence.

Honestly I can't see my child making it at public high school. Yes there are a small handful of students who don't obey the rules, or do drugs, but that is at every school, Christian or not. This school has christian principles that are taught. Its every students decision if they choose to be a christian. I am saving to send my second child there. The teachers are amazing. They pray over their students classrooms. I am so thankful for this school. My child would not have this support and spiritual aspect from a public high school. The pricing is a money saver. I know a few private schools charge 16 grand for tuition. My child chose to move to this middle school even though she could have stayed at her K-8…read moreelementary school. It was definitely a good move. Teachers are here because they actually like junior high kids, as does the principal, Mr. Asplund. And the big population of just 12-14 year olds means there are lots of choices for finding friends. We have appreciated the structured day and the opportunity for interesting elective classes. The kids have a very regular schedule with few surprises. They have every subject every day, including p.e. The band program and the math education have been especially strong. The few weaknesses here are really the fault of the State of California, not the school itself. The school lacks any kind of foreign language instruction, and despite building a beautiful library, the school can no longer afford a librarian. There is a strict dress code here (not a uniform) which may or may not appeal to everyone, but it serves its purpose and is easy enough to follow. Being near the campus of Lincoln High also gives the students some familiarity with the high school before starting there. Go Sierra go!

(student) "my dad died and my moms a alcoholic" (huch) "thats why you have no manners" "your people are always like this" these are just some details not the whole in order argument, A student also asks why she cusses at students and she "" says cuz i can, uh no you can't. as you can see, older huch is so disrespectful, arguing, cussing, talking bad apon children in multiple different ways, and RACIST, in 2024?? I still don't know how she's not fired. Now to Ms. Ben Ali, I was minding my business in class doing absolutely nothing but my work in class and haven't said a single word the whole time because i hate everyone and everything in that class, then Ms. Ben Ali comes up and makes me give me my phone for no absolute reason, I haven't looked or even touched my phone the whole time, I didn't even have data at the time to even do anything on my phone. Anyways now to the students, the students are literally so mean and are a big reason on why i hate school, there's always new rumors about me, there always sliding in some mean comments when i haven't even done anything, there always saying stuff about my appearance like I didn't already know, and so much more stuff. I swear students are always doing stuff that should be taken care of and should have consequences, but they no one ever does anything, now let's also talk a little bit about dress code, yes dress code is whatever but it's the unfairness, there are some students that I will not name that are always getting favorited and never getting dress coded, and then there are some that are always getting picked on (more then just dress code) I genuinely hate that school, school is supposed to my escape from home because I hate being home, but I just feel like i'm trapped in a never ending bad loop, i really can't wait to get out of this school, the students are such bad influences too, and if you want your child to actually learn and not hate school, DONT put them in this school, Delta Sierra Middle School.

However, she was a transfer there during her senior year and every senior wants to have a great experience and for the most part, she did have good experiences, but my complaint as a mother would be the lack of care during the organization of the school events as well as communication in general . From the very beginning, how her transfer was done was horrible . We also couldn't really get a hold of her counselor which we obviously needed to get in touch with to be able to start her school year, but he had an extremely bad attitude from the beginning and it seemed to be like that throughout the rest of the school year. I was trying to have my daughter not go to the school, but she insisted because of the type of classes that they had to offer . The attendance office seem to for the most part have an attitude problem one in particular Latina lady always seems to have an attitude and give my daughter an extremely hard time! They often didn't really have any answers to basic questions! The assistant vice principal was a student who lacks care and didn't really provide accurate communication. He often seem to lie, and when I would catch him in lies, he would then later change his story or move the goal post to deter the conversation. She was also harassed by another young lady in which she went to the office to report the incident and was told that she would be later on, followed up with a solution and that never happened. The senior prom was orchestrated with the most lack of care. The senior prom tickets was basically a little cut out piece of binder paper that had sloppy handwriting that pretty much say that this is your ticket. I wouldn't recommend this school to any student. They have a lot of typical things that occur in high school but there are a lot of fights there a lot of illegal activity that occurs in the bathrooms and the type of teaching that was done wasn't really all that good. It seems like the teachers for the most part were there for a paycheck didn't really challenge the students and for a parent to witness their child go from kindergarten to 12th grade overall her entire senior year was by far the most disappointing.

They have a great boys' basketball coach and a lot of fun clubs and after school activities. They offer a lot of AP classes and have many wonderful and talented yea hers.
