They have a huge, amazing outdoor play area and nature garden, which my son enjoys. I really love how much he gets to play and be a kid while learning and socializing at the same time. The teachers and director are experienced, communicative, kind, and provide a safe environment. My son genuinely enjoys it there and even asks to go, which is priceless. Highly recommend!

I kept getting unusual incidents reports and made me think that they weren't watching the children. I've also noticed that they choose favorites which is unprofessional. The preschool itself has had some other incidents with leaving children by themselves. The teachers there I feel they didn't have enough experience with children. Which led me to believe that my two children won't be safe most of the time. There is only one teacher there who is really good and she's had the most experience. If you do enroll your children there make sure they are verbal so they can tell you if anything is wrong.

Out on Davis Road in North Stockton when I went to school there it was during a time there was hardly a home around the school...just the golf course across the street. Now new homes completely surround the school on both sides. I had teachers like Mrs. Wolmack (twice) and Mrs. Littleton. It was an amazing place to spend 6 years of my life. I got in trouble from time to time...I did know what the inside of the front office looked like. For the most part I was a good kid and I got a great education. Thanks Lodi Unified School District! Elkhorn still looks pretty much the same today as it did back then...it just looks a whole lot smaller now...I guess maybe I am just a whole lot bigger than I was back then. :0)

Just because SCA is considered a "Christian" school does not indicate a hill of beans! There are so…read moremany kids that go here that are infecting the quality of it. To protect my kids' privacy, I won't say why I pulled my kids. However, in the time that my kids were enrolled, there was a drug bust, lack of Christian character from so many of the kids, bullying, and shockingly, such ungodly behavior. Most of this behavior is from ministers kids. I hate to have to expose this, but not many speak up and instead just turn their heads. The principal does nothing and turns his head to situations that any parent would be ballistic about. Don't waste your money. All schooling is done online. Save your money and protect your kids from the influence.

Honestly I can't see my child making it at public high school. Yes there are a small handful of students who don't obey the rules, or do drugs, but that is at every school, Christian or not. This school has christian principles that are taught. Its every students decision if they choose to be a christian. I am saving to send my second child there. The teachers are amazing. They pray over their students classrooms. I am so thankful for this school. My child would not have this support and spiritual aspect from a public high school. The pricing is a money saver. I know a few private schools charge 16 grand for tuition. Great cultural foods, games for the kids, performances and also Live entertainment. Vietnamese, Indian, American, Filipino and Mexican foods DROOLING! of course the blessed BEERS and WINE, water and sodas. :) Also BINGO! many winners throughout the day and evenings, and one large $250 Bonaza on the last night of the event. The kids love it. the have fishing games, ring toss, and even face painting. A must go and must see...can't wait until next year to do it all over again....food from each booth, play all the games, and then bingo! B-I-N-G-O!

This school's teaching has become worse and worse every year. Many students are failing for this reason. I've heard many complaints from my student, especially when it comes to his 6th grade science teacher. This school's dress is a mess, they don't allow logos but I've seen many kids pants hanging low. They focus more on the logos than how they are wearing their clothes. This school has became ghetto either way, don't recommend it.

Kohl open school in Stockton, California…read more This school has been apart of my life for the last twelve years. My eldest daughter started to come to Kohl when she was in Kindergarten. She was here all the way till eighth grade. My Son started started the same grade kindergarten till the eighth grade. My baby girl is still here at Kohl and started just like her siblings at the Kindergarten level. We have so many beautiful memories here at this school. When they all were here . I would love to come and spend time with them during the after school program and have fun with them. My children never wanted to come home. All they wanted to do is play with their classmates. I can go on and make this review long. But I'll keep it simple. Here at Kohl, we always felt like being apart of one giant family. I was pretty close to all the teachers my children had and all of them are wonderful. I have to say that Bud West our Principle is one of the best If not the best Principles in SUSD. The community, faculty and students are among the brightest in Stockton. If you track down some of the alumni you will find they are doing very well and credit it to the open education the school provides. Kohl will always have a special place in my heart.
