Instead of checking and coordinating with the insurance company first, they referred her to get the work to done. The result left her without being able to get the crowns she needed without paying a lot out of pocket. Which we couldn't afford at the time. She was left with holes in 2 teeth for months. Now one is broken and needs an extraction and the other is still empty! Instead of taking any responsibility and making things right their solution is to pay for an extraction and pay $700 to crown the other. I understand making mistakes, what I don't understand is not taking any accountability and trying to make things right with a patient. Months later we are in a worse condition because of their advice and not understanding how to deal with a patient and their insurance company. I remind you these teeth were not in pain and there were no issues. We could have waited until the insurance would pay or just not had gone to three lakes in the first place and been better off. She would still have all her teeth I wouldn't have to make people aware of their lack of accountability and customer care. Sorry it didn't work out but if you're going to leave patients like this, people need to know.
