For example, if you need them to read over some documents for you, they tell you that it takes up to 3 business days. The lawyer waits until the 3rd business day before they review your document(s). Another example, the lawyers can write a letter for you, which is no charge, but no lawyer will do that at this law firm. The lawyers at this firm can pick and choose if they want to take your case or not, even if you're a LegalShield member paying for their services or if these is part of your benefits provided by your employer. The lawyers don't care and would rather deny paying clients access to the legal services that they pay for. This law firm has lost some great lawyers, which have been replaced with lawyers that don't care and would rather not assist you. I was charged with a misdemeanor for filing a false police report. Guess what I never filed an official police report. The LEO told me he was going to charge me for waisting his time since I didn't want to have my friend arrested. In Henrico the judges don't do anything but side with the prosecution, forget the facts and evidence. It was just the officer word against mine and this lawyer couldn't even go to bat. He was treating the prosecution more like a friend rather than an adversary. After I lost the case, he had the nerve to want to appeal. I later found out you have to file a motion to have your case dismissed on whatever grounds while your case is being heard by the lower court or the appeals court will not even hear your case. He never filed a motion in court but yet he wanted to file an appeal. I would have been throwing more money away. Luckily i didn't listen to him anymore. There are better lawyers in the Richmond area.
