From spinning the wheel to getting the homemade cookies after your first visit, my kids look forward to going there. How can a dental medical facility deal with only one lab, no other labs approved for people without out of network coverage. She treated me terribly and would not let me talk to the owner if the practice. She has done sort of power issue. I have been going here with my husband and son for years and I will be leaving the practice because of her. Too bad because I love Dr Gomez whom I have been seeing for the past several years. Very very disappointed and angered by the lack of regard for my son's situation. And just kept saying no we don't deal with any other lab which to me is an insane for any medical practice. Oh and kept saying we're a dentist but dentists are doctors and they have oral surgeons (aren't they doctor too)? I'm so upset that my heart is pounding out of my chest from this experience. I called this practice because it was one of the few open, and was directed to email photos so Dr. Engel could take a look. He called within 10 minutes and talked me off the ledge. He calmly explained the trauma in detail and advised that while nothing could be done immediately because the teeth and gum must heal first, our toddler should have an in-person exam in one week's time. I greatly appreciated Dr. Engel asking questions that showed his expertise and compassion, and for taking his time to reassure this upset parent. If we lived nearby, I would book an appointment with him. Thank you!
