I asked them to look into three specific concerns I had with the car, and they wanted £150 per issue just for a diagnostic test--a total of £450 just to tell me what's wrong, before even discussing any repair costs. I've never experienced such pricing in any other garage. To put this into perspective, one of the three issues was simply a tyre that was slowly losing air pressure. They still wanted £150 just to check that--money that could've easily gone towards a brand-new tyre! What really frustrated me is that none of this was mentioned during the booking process. Only when I arrived there did they inform me of the charges and ask me to sign off on them. It felt misleading and unfair. Even though they charge such high prices just to diagnose the issues you ask them to check, they still carried out a complimentary "vehicle health check" (which I didn't request), conveniently identifying seven additional faults with a total estimated repair cost of over £2,500! (extremely overpriced everything)--for a car that passed its MOT test on the first attempt just five months ago and has only done 2,000 miles since. Some of the findings I genuinely doubt, such as a supposedly leaking coolant pump, which I've closely monitored since, and there's absolutely no sign of a leak. Also, don't expect anything to be fixed on the same day. I booked the appointment more than a week in advance, dropped the car off at 8am when they opened, and didn't hear back until 4pm with the diagnostic results. Any repair work would have required either leaving the car overnight or booking another appointment. To anyone reading this: save yourself the stress, time, and money--AVOID THIS PLACE. I deeply regret going there and will absolutely not return.

I had to literally visit the garage 5 times to get this issue resolved. When I collected my car after repair - the rear bumper and body has BIG SCUFF AND DENTS. Ashburton service centre bluntly refused to repair this and said that "cars are always parked on the street after repair and they don't take responsibility for what happens to the car on the street". I quote their exact words "For every car that we repair and park on street, if we started fixing the dents caused while they were parked outside our garage, we would go out of business". I have complained to motorcodes - case ID is 20515. I will complain to VOSA for providing incorrect MOT just for selling the car and I'm in discussion with a solicitor to raise a case in small claims court. AVOID THEM - they sell bad quality cars, bad quality repairs and don't take responsibility for safety of cars in their possession.

Biggest mistake of my life! I had booked my car in for a routine major service which was supposed to cost £295. But on the day of the service,I was called by the service department saying they had found another fault and this was going to cost me £300 more! As I am not a technician and the department instilled a sense of panic into me and I agreed for the extra work to be done. When I went to collect the car,I asked to examine the part they replaced and I didn't see any defect with it,but I paid the full amount of over £600! On checking the service book I was shocked that it was filled out wrongly by a supposedly qualified technician! it was then that the problems got worse and I began to suspect that the extra work I was told was needed was not actually needed. I suspected the dealership made up a non existant fault to extort more money out of me! When I raised the issue of the unnessecary work and my service book filled out incorrectly with the Aftersales Manager and the Director of the company they were simply not bothered. It seemed to me that they had got their money out of me and were not prepared to rectify matters. I had to question the fact that if a supposedly experienced technician was incompetant enough not to fill out a service book properly, how could I be sure he actually carried out the service or the supposed "repair" competantly? I bitterly regret using this Dealership and I strongly warn everyone to avoid them. I think they are crooks and conmen!!

His neighbours said the same thing happened to someone else last week. I had to take 8.5 hours public transport back as I had no car. Thanks to MK motors I've lost 1 1/2 days and several hundred pounds. Could be worse I could have bought a car from them. What was there had flat or perished tyres, mouldy interiors rust, collapsed air suspension and goodness knows what else if you actually tried to drive one. Avoid at all costs even if it looks cheap!
