We contracted with Caps for a relatively simple residential roofing job this spring. It took them 2 months to get to our job, and it ended up costing $2K more than the "total" price that we were quoted. The shingles were not what we wanted, as we had communicated to Shelley (owner) that we wanted essentially to replace what was there from an aesthetic standpoint. We were not at the property when the work was finally done, and when we came back we were very disappointed, both with the look of the new roof and the debris that was left behind (including many nails, one of which ended up in one of my tires, resulting in a $40 repair). I have never encountered an owner of a business that was less interested in customer satisfaction. read more
