My entire family have used Mr. Caprio for many different reasons over the last 30 yrs. He is always awesome. Would highly recommend!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. What a pompous jerk! My son who is incarcerated asked if I would contact Mr. Caprio and ask him to contact him, so that he could talk to him about his case. I don't know anything about the case, money, etc. I was just the messenger who my son was able to call to pass the word to his lawyer. This guy gets all hostile with me on the phone, telling me my son hasn't paid him since October. So I raised my voice to let him know that I was only the messenger and not interested in any details, but he just kept on until I finally said, "Goodbye" and I hung up! WOW! My personal experience with Mr. Caprio as my lawyer was unsatisfactory at best. He was referred to me by a bail bondslady at the Gloucester County jail. He wasn't present the first time I went to his office so I dealt with his secretary who was extremely nice and helpful. At the second meeting to discuss my case, he arrived in a pair of shorts and tee shirt and didn't really seem like he cared about my case. His mind was elsewhere. He kept mentioning a trip to the Outer Banks that he was late for and he raced me out of his office after throwing a lot of legalese at me. The meeting took about 10 minutes. The third time I again traveled the 45 minutes to his office and he showed up an hour late. He was already flustered and didn't have time for me. He rudely explained the plea deal he could get and told me to take it or leave it. He said that was all he could do. Again, the meeting lasted 10 minutes. The next day I called him to discuss my case and he was rude and disrespectful on the phone to me. At this point, I would have dropped him as my lawyer but I already had money invested in him. The day of court he showed up late again. We went in front of the judge and he verbally lied to me about the results of the plea deal, in front of a witness I had present with me. In court Mr. Caprio seemed confused and unsure of himself while interacting with the prosecutor and judge. After the judge read my sentence I was whisked off to the clerk's office to be processed and Mr. Caprio once again mysteriously disappeared. When I left the court house I called Mr. Caprio to ask him why my sentence was different than what we discussed and he told me he didn't know what happened and that's just the way it is. Mr. Caprio is the most unprofessional lawyer I have met and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone for anything. read more
