Every step of the planning process we were able to give feedback, ask questions and have our needs met. We could have never planned everything ourselves to make such an efficient use of time. Plus, as oft happens on vacation, one of our chosen activities was cancelled due to weather. CRST alerted us, gave us a back up option for the evening (beach sunset tour) and secured a replacement activity for the following morning (dolphin tour). While we opted to try surfing, you don't need to. They create your adventure according to your own desires, interests and goals! It's really quiet and the owners are super welcoming and helpful. We chose this place because we didn't want to be in the mix of things in Tampa and wanted to enjoy the beach without the crowds. Clearwater is a great little beach town. We got to unwind and mostly unplug. Our room/unit was a one bedroom, one bath with a kitchenette. I think the living room/kitchen area had a sleeper sofa too, with a shared balcony overlooking the pool. The bedroom and living room each had a flat screen for any TV watching. The wifi connection was good and pretty speedy. The bed was ok, we got decent sleep until the sun rose. My main gripe is that when I'm on vacation, I like to sleep in sometimes - the blinds in the bedroom didn't do a whole lot in shielding the sun. It's a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things. We also had a rental car and although the parking isn't ample, we still had a place to park at the end of the evening. We didn't get to try much of the food in the vicinity, but there are some good spots to stop for a quick bite. Even though Tampa is about 35-45 minutes away depending on traffic, we'd stay in Clearwater at the East Shore again - it was the perfect place for me and my husband to unwind and just do nothing in the sun.
