I kept getting shuffled from person to person, and no one made the process clear or easy to understand. After doing a Google and Yelp search, I found Andrew and decided to reach out. I emailed him with my needs, and he responded the very same day. He set up an appointment within a week, and from the very beginning, the experience was completely different from what I had been dealing with elsewhere. Andrew was incredibly clear about everything -- what documents I needed, what the process would look like, how long it would take, and what my options were. He walked me through different loan amounts, different loan terms, and different interest rates in a way that was easy to understand and never overwhelming. He answered every question I had right away and was always personable, kind, patient, and professional. What really stood out to me was how straightforward and stress-free he made the entire process. After my experience with banks and credit unions, working with Andrew was a huge relief. I would highly recommend Andrew Leavitt and West Coast Mortgage to anyone looking for a lender, and I would absolutely use him again.

I was extremely unhappy with my current CPA that I had for the last few years and was looking to make the switch to someone that was more personable, less "corporate" (in a good way, she actually knows my name, I'm NOT just a number), and someone that would really look out for my best interest. I was a bit a bit apprehensive (due to my previous experience with another firm) but decided to call them up. I can't begin to say what a relief it's been! Christine absolutely sets the bar- then goes above and beyond. She has dealt with both my business and professional taxed for the last 3 tax seasons and I've never been more pleased. She is incredibly thorough though the process, quick, and explains everything in detail so you never feel out of the loop. She takes pride in finding every fair and reasonable deduction possible without jeopardizing her integrity or risking an audit. If you are looking for a bookeeper or CPA, this firm comes HIGHLY recommended. I'm a client for life!

Because of this omission, I received a notice from the IRS. I am prepared to pay the taxes on the six unreported jackpots. However, I simply asked Christine to help me respond to the IRS to verify that the one jackpot ($2,000) was correctly reported on the return she filed. Helping me with this would have reduced the final bill and proven her work was accurate in that one instance. The owner refused to help in any way, stating that my taxes are no longer her responsibility. This is not only frustrating but completely unethical. If you make a mistake on a client's return, you have a responsibility to help them fix it, especially when they paid you for a professional service. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a tax preparer who will stand behind their work."
