I had a green light procedure and was sent home without a catheter, bleed extensively after I urinated, had to be admitted to hospital had a catheter for two weeks, after the catheter was removed my urethra started too close. Edmonds used a spike type tool to open urethra, extremely painful and not totally successful. I was told that the beauty of the Green light procedure was no bleeding. Not true either Edmonds. 10 years later another Dr preformed the same procedure, he repaired damage from first Green light, went home with a catheter for only 2 days have been great ever since. read more

They do not deserve even a star. Canceled my appt 24 hours before my scheduled appt. Didn't pay the 50.00 fee because the cancellation was not made 48 hours before appt. Now they have an Attorney after me to pay the fee. Had an appt was 5 minutes from being at the office for a previous appt. and they called me sayin That Dr. Edmunds was in an "emergency surgery and had a choice to wait a long time or reschedule". Its OK that they let me know 5 minutes before my scheduled appt. That he is performing "emergency surgery and that the time scheduled away from my job to make the appt is not as important, as me cancelling an appt less than 48 hours. Really, its become a power play. A doctors office that goes after a patientwith an attorney for 50.00? No they don't need my business. read more

Dr. Edmunds is a great urologist. I've been a patient for only a few years but I can tell you he goes over and beyond for his patients. I recently saw Dr. Edmunds for a followup for kidney stones and knowing I had a hx of BPH, did a DRE and felt something suspicious. He did a biopsy the following week which came back positive for intermediate risk cancer. I am now being seen by an oncologist. There's no telling how advanced my cancer would be had he not taken the time to do the exam. I would recommend him highly to anyone that needs a urologist. He and his staff are top notch. Be careful. I should've read their reviews. I had a procedure done at this office. From the first day of interacting with their staff I picked up that customer service wasn't part of their core values. The front desk ladies were rude and I noticed them snickering and talking secretly amongst themselves, which made me uncomfortable. The procedure went well. A few months went by and I never got a bill so I called in to see if I had a past due balance and I was told I did not. I went back for a follow up visit and shortly after received a bill for $12 + a $100 late fee for "not paying it within 10 days." First off, I didn't receive the first bill so I had no way of knowing I had 10 days. Second, how do you hit someone with a $100 fee for being more than 10 days late on a $12 bill?! Is it too much to ask for a simple phone call? When I asking the lady in billing about it she said, "This is a business and the Dr want the patients to treat it like one." I too own a business and would never go about doing business this way. I asked to speak with the Dr and was told he'd refuse to speak with me about billing. I referred 2 people there for procedures and he's not even willing to hear me out. Very disappointed in the way these folks choose to do business. read more

Just had a vasectomy performed by Dr. Edmonds on 8/19/16. Completely professional throughout. Staff was the highest quality. Pain during procedure was 2 out of 10 and post op it has been barely noticeable. Communication was thorough and concise. Highly recommend Dr Edmonds to anyone. read more

Very rude staff, charge for breathing on their territory. The whole experience is really bad

Dr. Edmund's medical team was very professional, courteous and informative. The administrative staff, however, was unprofessional and not very accommodating. It had been one year since my previous appointment and my insurance had changed. Discussing the changes with the desk clerk I offered my card, but she said it wasn't necessary. It wasn't until after my appointment that I was informed my new insurance is not in network and I would be responsible for the $300 visit within 10 days. I paid the bill, and my insurance company agreed to cover the one visit under a continuation on care clause, but Capitol Urology refused submit the claim sticking me with the expense. Dr. Edmund's office told me it was a "waste of their time". I was surprised of this behavior by the admin staff considering the customer driven service by the medical team. I later learned that it is standard procedure for medical offices to verify insurance prior to each visit which the Edmund's staff failed to do. To this day I do not understand why they wouldn't submit the claim to remedy the error so that I could recover the cost. read more

This guy's office charged me for a visit I never even made, never made the appointment, never even talked to them before and they send me a bill saying I didn't cancel an appointment. I never made an appointment. They threatened to get a collector involved so I wound up paying to people I don't even know. I wouldn't suggest anyone going to this place, they don't care about anything but money. read more
