Discounted parking is available in the underground garage (2.50€ for 3 hours). On Friday & Saturday evenings long lines for the 8pm shows. Some foreign films are shown in the original language (usually English) once a week. Tuesdays are usually cheaper in price, and the theater also offers a student discount with a valid student ID. The student price is only 5 euros! There is also a discounted price for children (Kinder). The theater has nice cushy seats, offers all the usual movie concessions and the latest in German and Hollywood hits. All movies from Hollywood and in other languages are dubbed into German by German actors.

Another great feature are the really comfy lounge seats, paired with foot rests and butler service on your place. You don't have to wait in any lines, they come to take your order before the movie starts and there's a button on your seat where you can discreetly order during the movie I believe. All together this theater looks really classy and also looking at the hardware they are up to date with the Dolby Atmos sound system. Only thing still missing would be the IMAX quality, but the screens in their larger theaters provide excellent quality. Sure the Astor is more expensive than other theaters, but only slightly (they offer a student discount btw) and the experience is worth the money in my opinion.

Definitely a plus for English speaking natives, and film enthusiasts. The prices are what you would expect from a large city theater these days. Slightly steep, but still affordable. On 3D movies it gets a bit on the ridiculous side though. The seats are very comfortable and I've usually found it to be quite tidy. I never noticed anything that bothers me about screen and sound in the cinemas. Apart from occasionally being a bit to loud. But maybe that's just me.
