I recently started growing a beard for the first time in 25 yrs. after a month of growth I needed a little trim and shaping to get my beard started off on a good note. I looked online for a barber and shave shop near my home, I found Capital Shave and thought I'd give it a try, I wasn't disappointed. I walked in, I was greeted with a Hello and welcome, and sat down to wait my turn, when it was my turn I explained what I was looking to get done and 15 minutes later I was on my way out. I didn't catch the name of the guy that cleaned up my beard, he was in the far corner, but I walked out happy. The place is clean and presentable. I will be back for more trims and shaping as long as I keep this beard. Thanks guys I appreciate your service So... I visited Capital Shave once again and had my beard cleaned up, I sat in Coop's seat, I explained what I needed and Coop was very attentive and even gave me a few suggestions that I liked. Don't waste your time here because that's what happen to me this place wasted my time. Have some common courtesy and say sorry can't take you right now. I asked they were taking walk ins? They said yes 1 person ahead of me. I replied cool I'll wait. When it was my turn they said sorry this other person that just walked in was ahead of me??? Sat in for 40 mins so they can tell me I wasn't next.....wow??? Wasted my lunch hour for this... talk about customer service. I would give them no stars if I could. My BF went to get his neck cleaned up and around his beard and of course he's been there plenty of times before and he never learns his lesson until this visit . Not only does he not get acknowledged when he walks in there they only acknowledge their friends and have them sit first before the people that been waiting already. The owners mother was the one to who did his trim she ended up giving him razor burn all under his neck and around his beard( I posted pix) . She used the straight razor dry. He never gets cleaned off he had hair all over him. After he received a horrible cut they over charged him he always paid $12 for a haircut which includes his beard but they charged him $22 for a hair cut and $7 for his beard. NEVER AGAIN !! Save the trip going there unless I you want terrible customer service ,razor burn, and to be overly charged. read more

Went here for the first time & got my haircut by Lynda , never going back. For starters she took over a hour to cut my hair & she was beyond rude making sarcastic comments in front of me. PLUS my lines weren't clean & she didn't give me what I asked for. I know what it's like to work with clients but you need to learn to accommodate them not the other way around. I can't speak on behalf of the whole shop but if you don't want a messed up cut or someone making rude comments about you in front of you then don't go to her period. This was one of the most disappointing experiences EVER! I use Yelp for just about everything. I was excited by both the reviews and the pricing. I made an appointment for 4pm. Showed up at 3:55 and proceeded to wait almost an hour to begin our haircuts. Not only did we have an appointment but we watched their friends walk in and sit right down in the chair while we sat waiting. I saw a couple bad reviews related to wait time and them helping their friends before appointments but I figured i would give them a chance. What a joke! I will never go back here based simply on the customer service and the way they treat new clients. Waiting 1:45 minutes for two haircuts when you had three appointments while they help their friends in front of you is ridiculous. In fairness to them my sons were happy with their haircuts. I unfortunately walked out of there 1:45 later with no haircut. read more

Yelp let us down today. Came in as a walk-in when they were busy and were told it would be a 45 minute wait at 1:30. No biggie. They had 4 barbers, so I figured we'd be good before my son's practice at 4. One of their barbers left, so now theyre down to 3. By 3:15 we're told that they're fitting in appointments in between walk-ins, but we'd be next since 2 of the barbers are taking walk-ins. By this time, we'd seen all of the people before us helped. Next slot opens up, and one barber takes the walk-in after us. 3:30 rolls around and the next walk-in after that was taken, and his friend was told he would be next. We walked out. They do quality work, but 2 hours to sit in air conditioning ain't what we signed up for. read more

This is the worst place ever! I really didn't want to give even a one star but I had to in order to write a review. I called earlier and asked if there was a wait and they said no. So I drove over I was the first on the list when a barber becomes available. Well I sat down and three other people came in and went before me. So I continued to wait..... Came in because I was in the area and figured I could use a haircut. I came in on a Sunday and Linda was the only barber cutting hair and she had one other person, so I had to wait a while before I got my hair cut. She was very friendly and nice. I got to the chair and she asked how I wanted it cut and told a nice trim for a comb over. While she was cutting my hair she would check with me to make sure she was cutting it to my liking. Everything turned out well and gave me some tips for future cuts. She also gave me a sample of one of the products they carry. I also met Josh, who came in later for an appointment he had waiting. He was also very friendly as he asked me about my Subaru. They offer hair cuts for $14, shaves (Straight edge) for $18. They have children and senior discounts as well. It's CASH ONLY as well. Pros: A lot of parking, comfortable seating, movies playing, never more than a 2 person wait and Greta location if you live in walnut village. Cons: They don't accept credit card. Only available atm is at the market next door which charges like $2.50, sometimes the music they play has a lot of cursing so not best for kids If you're an adult with cash... Feel free to come here. Got referred to this shop and haven't been disappointed at all. Took our boys first, and they all had diff barbers and we were satisfied with all their work. Excellent cut by Coupe and even better, it's literally right around the corner! Shop looks badass inside, they have a bar and they're half the price of any other barber. This is the place to go!!! $10 Tuesdays and $14 regular days. Definitely tip them well. They do took a long while to cut. However, you have to look at it as if they are artists and you are a sculpture. They want to make sure they do a tremendous job and you leave happy. This is a hidden gem in all of the Inland Empire. Great atmosphere and skilled barbers. I like the nostalgic old school barber shop vibe they have. I've gotten my sons and my hair cut and by Daniel, Andy and Linda and they've all done an awesome job. I've seen their other barbers work and they look pretty clean so you can't go wrong with any of them. If you're bearded up these guys know how to care of that manliness. They'll trim and line up that crumb catcher and make it look clean. You can't beat the price for the product you're investing in. With all that said, they are heavily sought-after so I highly recommend you call and make an appointment. It's unfortunate that everyone has had a great experience here. Ours, not so much! Before walking in, I made sure to call and ask for a time frame and was told there was 1 person getting a cut. Walked in and were told there was ONE haircut ahead of us. Waited an hour as people coming in were being taken ahead of us. The reviews on Yelp do not lie. Found this local barber because of Yelp and needed a last minute cut. Called them up and was told they could see me in 30 minutes. Got my hair cut my Josh. I felt bad because I have really thick hair and it took him longer then a usual cut. He did a really clean job. This shop is super laid back and a good group of fellas working there.
