APS installed accordion shutters on all the black doors and windows and hurricane fabric across the lanai so that the sliding glass doors will be protected and we will be able to utilize the lanai area for storage in event of storm. The best part was Tim created custom covers which he stuccoed and painted to match our house and they blend in absolutely perfectly. I had been worried that adding hurricane shutters to our home would be ugly- Tim and his team ensured that nothing could be further from the truth. Measurements were taken, the permits obtained and the window ordered with an estimate of 2 months, or possibly more, to get the project done. I am so happy to report that exactly 2 months later Jeff and Jay showed up and it was a real pleasure working with them. He was very respectful of our property and took great care during the inspection to ensure everything was left as he found it and worked safely being the inspection required him to access the attic and roof. Once the inspection was completed he took the time to review any items of concern and how they would need to be addressed. He also emailed the complete reports including photos and emailed copies to our insurance carrier to ensure there were no delays or gaps in the process. They said they had to first inspect , then clean. They charged over $500 to do an inspection and then they told me my chimney liner had holes & it couldnt be repaired. He too did an inspection & came to the same conclusion, I had holes in my liner. Except he had a product that could repair the existing liner and at a fraction of the cost.
