They do not re-use or recycle. HE would not provide me with the manual for both the remote and machine itself. So I could reset my password for the garage. YOU DO NOT NEED THE APP/WIFI to set up (it's such a scam). The remote is the same as the old one and uses the same battery, heads up community members they over charge for everything.
