The Capilla Real is worth a visit because Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand are buried here. The overall visit is actually quite short; the entire tour did not take more than 1 hour to finish. If you actually stayed and listened through all of the audio introductions, you may extend it to 2 hours or so. Entrance fee is quite cheep, about $5 euro. Spain is a country that is heavily influenced and shaped by Queen Isabella. So it is natural to pay respect and visit her tomb. The interesting thing is that both Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand are both buried in Granada, far from the political capital of Madrid or old capital of Toledo. The reason is that Granada is the final symbolic capital of Christianity and also the last conquered. So no wonder both Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand want to be buried here due to all of their hard work conquering Granada. I gave 3 stars because we cannot take photos inside, so it is a shame. Else, it is a worthwhile visit! read more
