Run and fast as you can from AdaptHealth/Cape Medical Supply. You get your order when they feel like it and if you even got it, t's never correct. Tacky thing, I've noticed they bill my insurance for orders I did not ask for or received. I reported many earlier this year and just found some new ones they processed illegally. read more

I agree this company sucks big time. Gave me a CPAP machine that worked perfect for 3 months. After the 3 months I've had nothing but problems.. sending the wrong parts.. and sending parts that still don't work. I think they gave me a used machine. worked great for 3 months then forget about it. Been calling them for 3 straight weeks still haven't been able to use my machine in 3 weeks, now they want me to take time off from work go to their office which is way out of my way so they can trouble shoot the machine. This company is negligent, rude and incredibly incompetent. My doctor ordered an APAP machine and it was two weeks before they notified me they needed a doctor's report before ordering the machine. I made the necessary calls--but they failed to follow up. Two weeks later I called and they hadn't done anything! The 'customer service' rep didn't apologize--she blamed another department on the screwup. If I hadn't called Cape Medical myself, there's no telling how many more weeks my order would have been delayed. I had to start from square one with a new company. I lost an entire month to obtain an APAP that's essential for my health. read more

Absolutley awful. They dont respond to emails. If you can ever get a customer service representative on the phone they are clueless or pass you off to someone else, who is just as clueless. I did find one or two people that were helpful and that's why I stayed for a little while. At some point I had an issue with my machine. I was given conflicting info from many different people, I waited weeks for a loner machine. I sent my machine in for repair and never heard another word. I called many times over the next several months looking for my machine with no resolution. I switched to a new company, got a new machine... still never heard from Cape medical. Avoid this company at all costs. I had to suffer through a group session with two other men I didn't know to get fitted for my first CPAP machine & mask. ALL of us were uncomfortable! This should have been done privately with each patient. The company I now use does fittings/consultations one on one for PATIENT PRIVACY. The man who was doing the fittings ignored what I wanted for a mask and insisted on one he thought would "be better" only to have it be a dismal failure. I had to go back and get the one I wanted, which worked perfectly. Their billing is shady as well, having been overbilled and the woman was curt and borderline belligerent. I think the Canton location is now closed, and that's a good thing. The office was run down, no heat, and looked like they were going out of business. I'm completely satisfied with the medical supply company that now supplies mine and my husband's needs. They are professional and courteous - everything Cape Medical wasn't. read more

Bonus: they inexplicably charged me $400 for services not rendered. When i called about this, they told me that they fabricated the bill so i would call in to update my insurance info. This company is horrible they messed up the fitting for my CPAP and the mask was unusable I literally was suffocating during my sleep they pushed a nasal mask on me and never showed me a full face at the refit they just mailed me the mask no refit even thought the guy never even showed me a full face mask. well this all caused my health insurance to deny the claim they did not tell me this they just sent me a bill for $450 like what the they are horrible avoid at all costs read more

I was given the name of the president of the company - Gary Sheehan - by Mike Carrington. He suggested that I should email him to address the problems I had been having with Cape Medical. Mr. Carrington assured me he would respond. He never did. Mr. Carrington also told me he himself would get back to me by the end of the day with some sort of help to my problem. He never did. That was last week! In March their wonderful employee Maddie came to my home and set me up with a cpap machine. At the time we had one insurance, a month later it changed. Both times we provided Cape Medical with all of the information they needed as soon as we had it. Beginning a about 4 weeks later,I received a call every few days, then almost daily from Cape Medical asking for our insurance information. They kept telling us it was "not going through". We were using it just fine everywhere else! Each time they called, we provided the company with the information again. I even had a bill at one point from CM and when I called to ask what it was for I was told it was my portion after insurance. I paid it. In the meantime the service department had been wonderful. The emails are helpful. I was supplied with a more efficient mask and the follow up was great. I received an email asking me to book my insurance compliance follow up with my Dr. and then to call the CM office to let them know when and what Dr. I was going to see. I called the next morning to give CM the information and was rudely told that all of the sudden they do not accept my insurance!!! What? Weeks of providing me service then I am dumped?! The amazing ResMed app for my phone that I relied on daily for my progress and support was canceled immediately. The woman I spoke with at Cape Medical was very curt and not the least bit sympathetic or helpful. No apology. It was as if finally someone figured out that they did not accept my insurance -when I had repeatedly been told that they did. Someone at CM dropped the ball big time. I guess the moral of the story is - great customer service - really bad billing department! Stay away! Not worth the dreadful hassle. read more

This CPAP experience has been a nightmare since I changed insurance companies! I switched to XXX during Open Enrollment last year and I have had nothing but problems ever since. Unfortunately, I was so new to the program I attended another fitting for a CPAP at Cape Medical in Canton, MA as I was instructed to do by Cape Medical. I immediately told the technician at the group (6) fitting at Cape Medical that I had the identical machine at home already, to that he offered an apology, and said that I still needed to be there because there was paperwork that I needed to fill out at the end. Unfortunately, in my ignorance, when he fitted me and gave me a whole new machine I believed that the equipment I had at home was no longer of any use and therefore would not provide me with the same monitoring and uploading of data to the new servicer! I didn't realize until it was too late that all I needed to do was just update some numbers from my previous machine! So, because I thought the other CPAP was no longer any good, I threw it away! TERRIBLE MISTAKE!!! Not long afterwards, I received a bill for the new CPAP, I was outraged because it was then that I was told I didn't need a new one, and that the technician should have "stopped the session" and immediately taken down my info and tell me I didn't need new equipment, but HE DIDN'T! I immediately called to complain, and was told that I could just bring that CPAP back and they would give me another machine to use at "no cost", so I did. They gave me another outdated CPAP but the tech assured me it was okay to use. Less than 2 weeks later it malfunctioned and I was told that I needed to replace the humidifier at $275.00, so much for "no cost" due to their previous errors in handling my case. So, I contacted XXX and told them to find me another company to provide me with another CPAP and they've been at it now since last December! I have not been monitored for a month, and have not been getting my much needed therapy! I just want you to know that I have left Cape Medical! This has been a nightmare! Horrible experience. Many calls asking where my CPAP supplies were. It took 1 1/2 months for them to finally deliver, only to find they left out the main head gear so it is all worthless. Unbelievable that they should be in business of supplying life effecting medical gear. Shame on this company. I am contacting my insurance company and the better business bureau.
