The room is a nice size and has tons of amenities. They have an indoor pool that is incredible. It's the perfect temperature, and is clean as clean could be. They have small saunas, a gym and a whole recreational center with full sized Tennis Courts, rooms for games such as Handball and even a small arcade. They have an outside bar which has live bands/singers playing all night with a crowd of people dancing having fun! This hotel is an absolute must stay and is worth the money in every way.

We needed a blow-up bed, which the staff cared for without issue. Setting it up took up some space, but thankfully, it is nothing to complain about. The bed we stayed in was comfy. The important thing was that the room was well-cleaned and organized, which we were thrilled about. The facility provides a lot of that, including an indoor restaurant called the Loft Restaurant and Bar and an outdoor one called the Loft Shack in the middle of the parking lot. They even host events, such as outdoor concerts. The website provides more info on that. There is even an indoor building that offers sports such as tennis and basketball and even an arcade room. The Cove provides an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Overall, we were very impressed with the Cove, with many memories to take in and cherish. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

Right in the heart of Orleans (mid Cape) and right up the road from a charming beach (Skaket Beach). Not to mention a pretty nice brew house. We each had different kinds of rooms. I was in unit 1.which is a standard room, two queen sized beds, a micro, a fridge and tv. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of closet space and a nice chest of drawers. Location, space, let's see....oh, the breakfast! Yes, you heard me right. There is a delightful selection of home baked goods and really good coffee, not to mention the cheerful owner ready to help with ANY situation. Our dog picked up a tic during a very aggressive season, but we didn't have the necessary tweezers. We asked our charming hostess and she gave us her own from her house. So nice! We thankfully didn't need them as it was tangled in his fur but still, we were so very grateful. If you go off season like we do then it's nice and quiet. It's also cheaper than the seasonal prices. Either way though, they have just rooms and rooms with a small kitchenette available. They will also bend over backwards to make sure your stay is memorable.

The rooms are freshly painted with nice new furniture, and remodeled bathrooms. If you're someone who typically stays at dog-friendly places, you're probably not accustomed to such nice, clean rooms. Check their website and you can see for yourself. But what the pictures can't show you is this: how thoughtful and friendly Karen (the owner) is. I could list several examples, but it's late and I'm tired so I'll share my favorite one: she got me a dozen roses and saved my marriage. While driving down to the Cape, I realized I had no anniversary card, no gift, and OMG NO FLOWERS ORDERED. Don't panic--FTD to the rescue. I asked my wife where we were staying, tilted my phone out of her view, and began placing an order for a bouquet of roses. But of course, that would be too easy--the damn order would not go through, and I could not call because my wife was sitting next to me in the car. What guy wants his wife to know he's ordering the anniversary flowers on the same day? Not this one. So I found the Starlight's website, and emailed a hail-mary asking if they could somehow arrange to get a dozen roses delivered and just charge it to the room. Within minutes, Karen emailed back to say "I'm on it." and shortly after that she wrote again that she would be driving to the florist at 4pm to pick up the roses and deliver them to our room. Who does that?!? I don't even expect that level of service from a concierge. Sure enough, at 4:30 Karen was at our door with a beautiful bouquet of roses for my wife. Husband game leveled up. Year one saved. Again, there were several instances where the owners' dedication to hospitality was obvious. The staff here really make you feel like you're their most important guest ever. While I hope that none of you find yourself in a similar predicament to my own, I do hope you'll get a chance to enjoy the Starlight Lodge and meet Karen and her friendly staff. We had a great time there with our dogs, and will return in the future.

The Apple map program said we were there about 1/2 - 3/4 mile before we were and it wasn't until Alan called the resort for guidance that we found our way. Once there, we were greeted and directed to our condo, which was in building 500. A nice man helped us w/ our luggage. Our place was upstairs on the end overlooking Little Pond. It was nicely laid out and comfortable w/ a kitchen that was well enough equipped to serve our needs, w/ large mugs, bowls and dishes, silverware and a knife block full of knives. There were flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom. The couch was comfortable for me for watching basketball. It was most comfortable for Alan lying down and reading. The most comfortable chair for him for sitting was one of those plastic outdoor chairs he brought in from the deck. On the walls were gorgeous, colorful unframed photos of points of interest on the Cape printed on metal, probably aluminum, from a time lapse photo of stars over the Sandwich boardwalk to a sunset photo of the Bourne Bridge, to a lighthouse, I forget which one. There were a couple of others, one of sailboats,the other of the Sandwich boardwalk. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage space, both drawers and two closets, one in the bedroom and one in the entryway. There was a Jacuzzi tub off the bedroom but we didn't use it. There were two bathrooms, which was a delightful luxury, both w/ showers over tubs. The tubs were the ones formed from fiberglass, better for showers than for baths, because the inside edge is too narrow to provide a good purchase for getting out of the tub. After the first bath I took showers. Mounted on the wall at the back of the tub are dispensers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Very convenient. The towels and washcloths were thick and thirsty. The cleaning staff came daily to empty the trash and change towels as needed. There was a large upholstered chair in the bedroom which was about a third too big for the space. It was comfortable for putting on my shoes and socks, but it was too wide. Fortunately we have a small nightlight that's not too bright so we didn't stub our toes on the way to the bathroom at night. The grounds have a tennis court, a pool and an outdoor fire pit, none of which we used, but I expect summer visitors use them.. The resort is right across from the ocean beach, a short walk. It's very well located, adjacent to thickly settled neighborhoods (a lovely phrase I saw on signs accompanying speed limit signs) but feels remote and to itself in a very pleasant way. It provided a wonderful home base for our explorations during the week we were on the Cape.

We were here during January, since we wanted the quiet of the off season. The room: There is a jacuzzi tub and fire place in the bedroom with a balcony. The living room can get cold since the heater is in the bedroom. You just need to keep the door open in the bedroom to warm up the living room. There were 2 full bathrooms for a one bedroom. I can see it fitting 4 people but would be slightly tight. There is an electric stove top and microwave; a kitchenette. No oven but a full fridge. Location: great location. Right across from the beach. 5-10 minute drive from the center of town. There are also a couple of restaurants that are a few buildings down. Lots of good restaurants and cute stores you can easily drive to. Major stores like Walgreens, Walmart, staples are also close by if you forgot or need anything. My spacious 1-BR Suite included an Efficiency Kitchen, & a Fireplace & Jacuzzi in the Master Bedroom. King Bed & Pillows were very comfortable. Closet was adequate. The 2 Full Baths were useful when Guests came over, & the Dining Table & 4 Chairs helped also. The Sofa was large & new ~ but I took off 1* for the thin very uncomfortable mattress on the Pullout. All Employees were friendly & helpful. Mid-Week ~ Housekeeping Service. Daily ~ towel exchange, trash removed, bed made up, paper products replaced. I was on the Ground Floor ~ no noise from walls or 2nd Floor above me. My Parking space was 5' from the Front Door. Outdoor Pool was large & beautiful, & it overlooked the FH Beach. It seemed like nothing in Falmouth was far away ~ a few blocks or a few miles. So I was able to max out my beach & touring time. I didn't even use a full tank of gas from the time I left Boston, until I was ready to leave the Cape, including a trip to Hyannis.

I've stayed here many times and chose different rooms that had ocean view or were ocean front. Each room was cute, comfortable, cozy. The inn is right on the beach and the prices are super affordable. I do go off season so that helps with the pricing. Breakfast is not served in the off season but I'm happy to bring food and make my own. There is a room at the basement level with a mini-fridge and basket for each room to store their food. There is also a closet with pots/pans, etc. and a stove for the guests' use. The eating area is my favorite spot with two tables, a coffee pot, tea pot, toaster, mini-fridge, dishes, and a wall of glass looking out onto the ocean. It is a very casual, comfortable place. Perhaps the casualness of it is what caused the only negatives I've encountered (but not negative enough for it not to be THE place for me). Once a mother and daughter were in the common room having a long and heated discussion/ argument. Another time a young boy took over the TV on a rainy day and stayed there for hours even though he could have used the TV in his room. I think people stay here so often that they get very comfortable, get to know the owners and act as though it's their house. Or maybe they are just inconsiderate. The Beach House Inn is my favorite place, I love bringing different people with me each time so they can experience it, and I can't imagine going anywhere else on the Cape.

Three upstairs rooms face the ocean with private decks. One down stairs room faces the ocean while the remaining face the side and back of the house. The beach as stated is private. The water is warm, calm and no undertow. Owners are accommodating and on site.
