On the inspection day, which did cost $250 (a very fair price if you call around for a licensed inspector), they arrived on time, did a thorough inspection, explained the issue clearly, and provided a fair, transparent quote for the repair with no surprises. Only a few days later, Scott (the owner) and his crew installed a high-quality dual-lined stainless steel chimney liner that perfectly addressed the draft problem by improving airflow and boosting overall safety and efficiency. The work was clean, professional, and completed quickly - they left everything spotless, no mess at all. Our burner now draws beautifully and burns efficiently. We're thrilled with the results and the great customer service. As stated earlier, Scott, the owner, even came out and worked on our project. You can tell that he takes pride in his work and business. I am not sure what the issues others are having, but some of the reviews don't make sense to me. I highly recommend The Chimney Chap for chimney liners or any fireplace-related work - we'll be calling them back for sure!

I did so and again didn't hear back from anyone. I called a week later and was told the guy I spoke with was out on vacation and would be back that Tuesday and he would return my call. I sold the house in 2023 and still, the windows were in great condition. So, after downsizing to a fixer-upper, I naturally called Precision. I did get other quotes but again, went with Precision. This time it was 8 double-hung windows plus a huge 4 lite bow window. I can't say how pleased I am with the meticulous work Chris and his team did. The first windows delivered did not have the correct grid and Tony immediately ordered replacements to swap out. This was done in a timely manner and I was over the moon happy. The bow window installation looked difficult but these experienced guys got it done and it's absolutely beautiful! Some minor details had to be addressed regarding the bow window. Chris came out again and finished the inside with impeccable woodworking skills. He then showed me a gap on the outside of the house where the old window projected a bit more and said they'd come back to fill that and finish it off. 08/30/24 - Chris was back with help - the window gap was filled in and it looked as if it was always there. Perfection! He also replaced a screen that arrived with a small tear. Inside and out, the windows are perfect! The crew was friendly and respectful of my home. They left my property neat and clean. I had such a positive experience with Precision - just as I had 22 years ago. I highly recommend them to family and friends. Great workmanship, quality and extremely competitive prices! Melinda N. The final invoice came in at nearly double the original estimate, even though the project did not change in scope. Getting a bill that far off from the estimate without explanation feels misleading at best. An estimate should be reasonably close to the final cost--not off by such a huge margin with no warning. If there had been transparency or ongoing communication about pricing changes, this would be a very different review. Proceed with caution. The workmanship may be solid, but make sure you get everything in writing and demand clear, upfront communication about costs, because that was a major failure here.
