It was July 30th, 2020 and we were in a pickle. I arrived at the Radiator shop in my suit and tie. My wife's uncle's funeral was about to start and my boys were pallbearers for the grave side internment that was going to take place in Marion Bridge following his service. We arrived at the funeral home on Grand Lake road and my daughter said, "Dad, it looks like van is bleeding". Yikes, that's not good. So I asked for some advice from those around and most recommended Cape Breton Radiator. When I arrived I must have looked a little perplexed. These guys were obviously very very busy. After answering several back to back phone calls Sid looked up and eked out a smile and said something like "how can we help?". I started my story indicating that we were visiting family and attending a funeral in Cape Breton and traveled down from Halifax. My wife also had to back in Halifax to preside over another funeral at 1:30 PM the next day. I won't go into all the details, but basically instead of going on break, one of the mechanics took the time to have a look and found our issue to be a broken clamp on the radiator hose. A simple fix, but not for a guy at funeral dressed in a suit with a family in a very emotional situation. Cape Breton Radiator was able to fit us in between two appointments and repair the broken clip. You know, both my wife and I are from Cape Breton, and I have always told people you should visit the beautiful views, but most of all enjoy meeting the islands amazing people. Thank you for helping us in our time of need.
Sincerely,
