Capacity Sports is a kayak and canoe specialist with a very big range of new and used kayaks (over 500 kayaks and other craft out the back). They were helpful and patient with me when I was asking about the features of the various kayaks. They have a system where you can hire a kayak to try it out and then have the hire price deducted from the final price (as long as you buy straight away). They are located on Bay Rd Highett so they are only about 3 kms from the beach. They have a useful range of accessories and have a bargain bin where you can find discounted oddments. Hi, I have taken nearly 6 months to buy my Kayak. In that time I have gone from having a rough idea about which boat I wanted. To gaining a lot of knowledge and data that supported my purchase. I had been to another well known Kayak shop and was provided with the information I needed at the time. but as time went on, I found that I needed more information to justify my purchase. Despite Capacity sports being over an hour from my place, i attended their shop on a number of occasions, and each time was greeted with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude. In the end I decided that they had the boat I wanted. I went in viewed the new release and provided the deposit after selecting the colour from a wide range. On pickup day, I was there for 2.5 hours, because I was trying to decide which accessories i wanted on this occasion. Needless to say eventually got most of them and a couple of things on back order.
