My neighbors used the Canyon View Dumpster service to clear out their deceased mother's home. The daughters were clearing the house out since it was on a reverse mortgage. They filled the first dumpster and were getting a second dumpster to replace the first one. However, this was at the time of our major snowstorm and there was snow in front of the first dumpster. The driver tried to get a run into the driveway, but was unable to get to the dumpster. The driver then straightened out and ran across the curb, the parkway and onto the sidewalk of my neighbors house across the street from where the dumpster was, leaving deep ruts in the neighbor's parkway strip. When I confronted him about that, he responded 'Well, I couldn't get to the dumpster". He still couldn't get to the dumpster and left. The driver said he did not have a chain to hook to the dumpster to pull it out to where he could reach it. Some of the neighbors got together and shoveled the snow out from in front of the dumpster and the company came back and exchanged dumpsters the next day. I found their disrespect for people's property astounding. read more
