Was a bit disappointed with my recent visit here. Not all the staff provide the same level of service. I purchased a few items and the first cashier I had was really great. I ended up deciding I wanted another item and had the other cashier and he was not as friendly. For the price of items here, I do expect a good level of service. Otherwise, I might as well just order online and save the trip. Selection in store is also not good for popular sizes. Woman's small was non-existent as was men's medium. They did have great selection of kids items though . And a surplus of xl and xs items for adults. read more

This review is for the online Canucks Team Store, Vanbase. Word of advice: unless you want to spend a week trying to figure out what happened to a jersey you paid $300+ for, stay far away and go shop somewhere else instead. I ordered a jersey with their free one day shipping option -- after waiting several days and contacting their customer service, I was told it was sent to their physical team store for pickup. The representative, Jill, insisted I chose the pickup option -- even after I twice sent emails and receipts from the store that showed the item was supposed to be shipped to my shipping address. Every question took multiple days to get an answer, and after a week, no explanation or apology for what happened. I'm just expected to trek an hour to downtown and hopefully get my jersey there, with no pickup instructions or notifications ever sent. Legitimately the worse online ordering experience I've ever had. And on a side note, I was told that "one day expedited shipping" is actually 3-5 days -- but of course they don't put that on the website. read more

As a Canucks fan living in California, I was hoping to buy a crapload of stuff here since I can't really buy any Canucks stuff back home unless I do it online. The store sells a lot of your favorite Canucks players jerseys, shirts, and other fan essential merchandise. But unfortunately, they were WAYYYY out of my price range. For example, for a pair of Nike Canucks shorts were being sold for $70 CAD!!! And as far as their hat selection goes, I felt like it was just OKAYYYY. I wish they offered more variety as far as their hats goes. The store itself has two levels. On the ground level, they sell kids and other Canucks knick knacks. The second floor is where the jerseys and clothes for men and women are. In the end, I only came out of the team store with one Canucks shirt. I went in here looking for a Valentine's Day gift for my husband. I didn't think any of the hoodies were really his style and at $85 a pop, no thank you. However, most of the other items (jerseys, shirts, kids' pajamas, socks, mugs, shot glasses) were reasonably priced. Some of the ladies' wear is absolutely cute except for the black jerseys with fluorescent pink Canucks lettering. Yuck! Staff were very helpful and took a size small off the mannequin so I could try it on. The cute gray men's sweater with the Canucks logo on it ended up being a little too big. Go figure. Also, they were out of 5T jerseys for my little guy. They said they MIGHT be getting some in next week. So, in conclusion, they have nice stuff, but none of it fits! They need to figure out their ordering system and keep more sizes in stock. Until they do this, I'm buying my Canucks wear elsewhere. read more

Terrible service. Entered the store at 4:53pm and first words out of all 4 staff members upon seeing us enter at various times was "we close at 5pm". When 5:00pm came around they came up to us and said we are closed now. I guess it's too much to ask people to work one minute over their scheduled time? This store is a tourist attraction and they should realize people come from far and wide (like California in our case) and it's not easy for us to squeeze a visit in. If it wasn't for the fact that my 14 year old son is a fan I wouldn't have spent the $135 in the store. I probably would have spent more if I wasn't kicked out of the store. I wouldn't recommend this store unless you are desperate. The workers could certainly use more training in customer service. read more

Staff is VERY helpful, but the merchandise is way over priced. $49 for a media guide! ? Come on. Also, the selection of most of the t-shirts that I was interested in, were out of stock in "normal" sizes. That's a merchandising issue, that should be addressed. The other thing that is cool about this store, is that it is connected to the stadium, and has a small area upstairs for player signings during regular weekday's or non-game times. Overall, you'll find something to take away from here as a memento, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Wait till game day. read more

This store is located in the prime center for Canuck madness - buy your gear and then watch the game at Roger's Arena, how perfect is that relationship? You'll pretty much find everything here from women's to men's to children's styles: t-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, sock, souvenirs - keychains, hockey sticks, pucks, flags, Styrofoam hands, etc.. it's a whole lot of Canucks saturation in that store. Also, it's a beautifully organized, decorated and brightly-lit store - just makes you feel proud to be a Canucks fan walking in there. We asked the Cashier if we could use the restroom because my Son needed to use the Loo, The rude cashier said there was no washroom and told us to go to Costco of all places. Great selection of women's shirts. Having said that, everything is outrageously overpriced. $50 for an infants jersey?? She asked a few questions and confirmed a few things - a discount was added to the order and poof - I'm out the door in 15 minutes. The store itself has a good selection of Canucks merchandise and jersey. If you can find a jersey with your favourite players, they will custom make one. Today's awe factor in the store were these 4.5 size Canucks hats located at the cashier. I asked if they were for babies - Maria said: "No, they are for decoration or for your pets". I'm a Canucks fan from Arizona that came here for the World Juniors and honestly, visiting this store was a highlight of my trip. The selection is larger than any SportCheks in Victoria or Vancouver, so this should be a go-to for all Canucks fans. I am disappointed that I couldn't find any Virtanen or Markstrom apparel or souvenirs but there was so much else I loved that I was fine with that. I've visited the Canucks store every time I've been to Vancouver (1996, 1998, 2003, 2005) and each time I have a wonderful experience. I'm sure they love to see me too because I drop some serious dough on Canucks stuff each time! I love the selection in this store. Ever wondered what an entire wall of Canucks jerseys would look like? I've seen it here. I've scored some wonderful deals, including an authentic Gino Odjick jersey bought on the cheap shortly after he was traded. It doesn't seem that the prices are terribly marked up due to being right in the arena. We've always encountered extremely friendly service every time we're in the store. The store is open during the offseason and when the Canucks are out of town. They even have good holiday hours. Only once has my visit coincided with an actual Canucks game, so all the extra availability is appreciated! read more

I love this store. It's a must-go for any Canucks fan. There is everything from jerseys, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, baseball caps, stuffed animals, flags, photos, keychains, fridge magnets, mugs and glasses, posters, and any other memorabilia and merchandise you can think of. No matter what your budget is, you'll be able to find something sweet for yourself or for a nice gift. The section of baby stuff is absolutely adorable! Recently they've started carrying Ryan Kesler's clothing line, called RK17, and it is a little expensive, but really nice. I covet the women's hoodie in Canucks colors. The staff have always been really friendly and helpful. The store opening hours are a little annoying though. Not the place to purchase Canucks merchandises especially jerseys. I have been ripped off a number of times from the staff, they either charged me more or did not include the discounts they said they have promised for the customers. Jerseys are way more expensive than other jersey shops. Plus you must pay for your parking or parking may be a bit difficult. read more
