Cantonese Delight is on the Doxford park shopping centre. It's right next door to the pub, so great if you have been out for a drink. There is plenty of parking if you are picking up an order.
As it's next to the pub and a pizza place, on a shopping centre you do tend to find groups of kids hanging about outside. It's a bit intimidating, but I go with my hubby so it's not too bad.
The 'shop' is clean but could do with a revamp. The wood on the windows looks like it is falling apart.
The lady on the counter is fine, not talkative but is happy to suggest meals or side dishes.
The menu is varied and has lots to choose from. Unfortunalty, unlike other chinese take aways, rice and chips don't come as part of the meal. You have to add them on as an extra.
The food is lovely and we haven't had a bad meal from them. The price of the meals are average for the area but more expensive when you have to add on your rice and or chips.
They do deliveries as well. Only had one from them as it's cheaper to pick it up. read more
