We called G-Man taxi ONE month in advance to reserve a shuttle for our wedding, they said to just…read morecall back a few days in advance and they would reserve us a shuttle without any trouble. We called again a week in advance just to be sure and were told the same thing. THREE days in advance, we called again to reserve the shuttle for our wedding guests (to drive from the Stonefence to a cottage in Morristown, less than 10 miles away) and the man on the phone became indignant- insisting that we should have called before, although he said we could still reserve a shuttle. We called the entire day of our rehearsal dinner (day before wedding) and he was not answering at all! We were trying to get a confirmation number that would never exist, in order to ensure that our guests were safely transported from their hotel to our wedding venue. This is a level of customer service and extremely poor business practices that I am glad to say I have never been privy to. Thankfully no accidents resulted from it-- due to my own friends and family providing safe rides for other guests. While we were enjoying our time scrambling to find another shuttle service, during our rehearsal dinner (obviously we had nothing more important to be doing, right?) we received calls back from other services who laughed when they heard we tried to book G-man because they are "notorious" for going completely under the radar, last minute, for big events. I am an Ogdensburg native, and I believe that the area can be restored to what it once was, but "business practices" like this will only hold it back. This could have resulted in drunk driving crashes (possibly deaths) if it had happened to a less responsible group. I would also like to add, you probably would have made hundreds of dollars in tips, alone-- had you made responsible and ethical business decisions that weekend. I look forward to spreading the word about this-- the only thing that went wrong for my wedding.

Matthew Gladle, the owner, is the driver and has been doing this for years. He is very nice and patient, and is super reliable to get you where you want to go. 10 out of 10. Second phone call at 910, 'driver is almost there'. 9:25 phone call, driver in the village and will be there in less than 10 minutes. Long story short, we managed to get a ride with someone from the Inn and did not make it in time. We have now paid over $500 in additional fees to reschedule flights and get a hotel for the night in Boston. Do not use them. I'll be reaching out to the admissions office at SUNY Potsdam too so they will stop recommending them.
