I'm in town for a month and a reservation was finally successful 1 week later (thanks to a last minute cancellation). They offer reservation for 6pm and 8:30pm. (With a dining room of total only 24 seats, no wonder they fill up fast. ) Intimate settings and tasteful decor. Extremely friendly staff including the lady owner herself. Very small menu, all items superb. The highlight was the steamed sea bass with ginger and scallion, Cantonese cuisine at its finest. Very light touch on seasoning and let the freshness shine. Luo Sui is also highly recommend. (The duck was also greatly enjoyed by my next table eaters ) As a Chinese living in New York City, I have Chinese food of all varieties frequently. The soup wasn't bad, but not the Taiwanese beef noodle soup I was hoping/expecting. The xiao long bao tasted more like small pork buns. I was hoping they'd pan fry them, but they weren't either. The water boiled beef was good and tasty. It got the heat that I was looking for. Speaking of heat, gawwwd. In the middle of a heat wave, I was thankful that they were still open, but they only got one AC system near the register. I was lucky to have a table near that slice of heaven.
