Cassie pre numbed my mouth for the novacaine. The Dr came in and he explained every step and let me know I would feel a sting for 5 seconds numbing the roof of my mouth. I did not feel any discomfort! Through the whole procedure Dr Barkley explained everything he was doing. I enjoyed the music. Sinartra, Durante and Nat King Cole and others. He did exrays 3 times to make sure the tooth was in good shape. I was given a warm cloth to clean my face and hands after all was completed. Dr Barkley let me know what to expect for the next 3 days and if I needed his help for pain to definitely call his cell. I highly recommend Dr Barkley. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. The entire team made me feel welcome and comfortable. Carissa called me in the morning from the waitlist and got me in late in the afternoon. She explained the services and prices. When I arrived she warmly greeted me and made me feel comfortable. Mackenzie (Mack), specialist, prepped me, took scans and made me comfortable. She was very attentive to my needs and did a great job assisting Dr. Barkley during the procedure. Dr. Barkley made me feel comfortable and explained the steps as he proceeded with the root canal. After reading a lot of root canal horror stories online, I realize I am very, very lucky that I went to him for my molar root canal. I had been in excruciating pain before the root canal, so I was actually looking forward to having it done so I could be out of pain. The procedure only took about an hour and I got in right away when I got there for the appointment (no sitting around getting nervous!). He numbed me up so I did not feel a single thing. Even the first shot going in didn't "pinch" at all. I really do recommend Dr. Kuntz to anyone needing a root canal.

All 3 were an emergency from my point of view because of the pain. The Office staff found a way to work me in every time and the Doctor's focus was to relieve my pain and make the tooth ready to accept a crown. Dr Benjamin examined the tooth and did appropriate tests to determine if a root canal was needed. Once anesthetized, he started and completed the treatment efficiently with the use of a microscope. He took an intraoral photo to show me the crack in my tooth. He answered my questions and provided thorough written post operative instructions. It was painless. You also had the option to be able to watch a tv show of your choice during treatment if you wanted. His staff were nice and gave me tour of the office.

If you plan to come here for a consult, you will need to clear at least 2 solid hours from your day, if not more. And that 4 minutes cost me $89. I am here to prevent you from learning the same $89 lesson that I just learned. As soon as the dentist recommended full, unconscious IV sedation during minute 3 of our conversation, I knew this was not about me and my teeth but about dollar signs. Instead, I saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes where he recommended I schedule ANOTHER appointment to have the work done that my dentist's office clearly told them to do already. This is nothing short of a billing game to charge $89 for an unnecessary visit and a complete waste of time. This is a clear example of why medical costs are so high. I recommend taking your business to a provider that is interested in performing work for the fees they charge.
