where to start? this was the worst restaurant experience i've ever had. for one, they flag us down…read moreand insist we eat here. we agreed. (that's our mistake). it took forever to finally seat us. but i guess forever wasn't enough time to set up a table because it was filthy when we sat down. after about 20 mins of being seated, someone finally takes our order. BUT out of the 4 of us sitting at the table, he only asks 2 people what they would like to drink. and forgets to bring one of them. very condescending tone when i ask him questions about the menu. at this point we have ordered and it's been over an hour with no food, and no one checking on us. keep in mind this restaurant DOESNT EVEN HAVE MEALS ONLY APPETIZERS. so not sure why the grilled meat on a stick is taking over an hour to prepare. but bless up because finally food comes, not our order, ONE appetizer. and no utensils to eat with :-) my friend gets up to ask an employee for utensils and she said "one second" and proceeds to do something else. we wait 10 mins. another friend of mine gets up and asks again, the employee says the same thing, but after another 10 mins we get a utensil. (at this point nobody has their food except me). i stop eating because i feel bad nobody else is, also because the meat was not cooked. still no one has food. we've decided to give up and ask for the check and go somewhere else. they charge us incorrectly because come to find out, there's a charge for EACH person JUST TO SIT DOWN WITHOUT EATING. we reluctantly gave them our money and they refuse to give us change. as we are trying to get our change, the two employees that were "helping" us are talking bad about us while we are in front of them. giving them undeserved money. that's it. thanks for reading if you made it this far, please don't eat here.

Food was fairly priced and beer was cheap. I saw a gentleman at another table order a fish. The waiter came and de-boned the the fish and it looked delicious! I would recommend trying that. The service was good. They were able to communicate with us without a problem even though none of us spoke portuguese. The restaurant is a little crammed, but manageable.

Here is my two cents on the food and a little bit of chatter. What is a surprise I had when…read moresearching through a various menus on different restaurants ,I came across barbecue pork ribs and they also serve fresh squeezed orange juice. It was a rainy and miserable day in Rio de Janeiro and I did not feel like trogging through the wetness . I got my food via Uber Eats It was delivered hot and on time. The pork ribs were in between baby back ribs and slab ribs everything's different in Brazil. The pork was & tasted so good.It fell off the bone and easy enough for two. So in a sauce nothing like we have here in United States no mustard sauce and no tomato-based sauce something in between they call barbecue sauce..Along with french fries , portions are big enough for two people. The fresh squeezed orange juice which is found at most restaurants , I come to find out that very few actually will deliver them. Instead of having the national dish I got a bean soup black bean soup that is quite tasty though I needed to do doctored it up at having a little bit of kept hot sauce. I also had a pastel which is quite common having cheese but this one had cheese and onions very tasty. Along with the meal they serve small chunks of fried pork belly or bacon as we would call it but the pork belly was cut up and fried in about half inch cube squares. FYI..... be aware that any delivery no matter what the distance they say it will be about one hour before you actually get it. But most food will arrive at a hot reasonable temperature. When you come up with ice cream gelato or other cold things then you're just taking a chance on it being melted upon the arrival..On Uber you are able to track and know the driver, plus car- license plate , motor bike or bicycle definitely a good place to check in taste of food
