Hello, Dr. Mary P…read more Norton was rude, seemed to be racist and did not even provide our child's weight and height information during this first appointment for our child/school physical. Ms Norton, then proceeded to call child protective services and lie to them because our four year old had trouble with her first vision test. We are a family strong in faith so she did not affect us in any way outside exposing herself and her apparent racism/discrimination. Ms. Norton succeeded with making herself look like the racist biggot that she presented herself to be and the visit from child protective services did not disrupt or phase us as parents. It's simply a reminder that there are bitter people out there even doctors who use their position to attempt to impose negatively out on good people due to discrimination. The child protective services representative was confused because everything was in order during their visit and seemed to be amazed she would call child protective services Sadly, the doctor did not realize my husband captured the whole interaction on recording the moment she showed her discriminatory acts/behavior during the appointment. We will be filing a formal complaint with multiple medical boards, and all the offices and institutions she is involved with with hopes of protecting vulnerable families from being subject to her skewed and crude behavior.

We've had other pediatricians that seem a little annoyed when we ask questions or offer our thoughts, but she is always ready to hear them and have a discussion. I would highly recommend her.

I've been trying to get documentation for my child who will be starting elementary school. I've called multiple times, I've left messages, NO ONE calls back! My experience with Dr. Bailey and her Nursing staff and Pediatricians in training, regarding the quality of care has been great! However, when I'm trying to reach the administrative staff or ask questions in order to get a response you MUST use a cell phone in order to receive a response back from their AI chat bot Clara. But here's the kicker I called from my cell phone approaching an hour ago and I still haven't gotten a response. It's experiences like this, where stereotypes are born. This pediatrics office needs new admin staff, full stop.

Dr. Elzie was my Pediatrician when I grew up, so I was very surprised to see he was still…read morepracticing at PPP now that I'm preparing to find care for my future baby. I was excited but met with disappointment once they told me they don't accept babies born at birth centers or home births. This was my first time hearing a provider refuse based on that. It's not listed on their website and the nurse who shared this information over the phone was condescending and as the conversation went on it was clear she had misinformation about Florida LICENSED midwives and the care they provide. When asked why they don't accept babies born out of the hospital, she said because the babies don't receive the proper care and shots they need that's given if they were born in the hospital.... But the shots she was referring to are actually offered OOH (vitamin K, erythromycin eye ointment, PKU) and it's required by law for the midwives to refer babies be seen by a pediatrician within 24-48 of discharge. She stated that for babies born out of the hospital they would only see them at their 1 month wellness visit and would need to see proof they've received newborn care up until that point... care they can only get from another Pediatrician?! That's so backwards instead of providing pediatric care from the beginning. Again, very disappointing to know this office has a "policy" like this that's rooted in misinformation. Out of hospital birth is safe for low risk moms and newborns. Although this is my first baby, I have experience working in a birth center and as a student midwife. This just goes to show that there are providers out there that are against the work midwives, Florida licensed and trained medical professionals, are doing to provide women with a choice in our community. Wow!

When you call to ask a question Beth is calm and knowledgeable. She has helped me through so many times when I as a mother an worried. Even though from her perspective it is the same common place illness that they probably have told me how to handle many times, she does not make you feel silly. You can't go wrong with this team.
