Dr Blanco and his staff have been excellent. He is knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. I even got a few callbacks from him and his staff shortly after my bloodwork and urinalysis to check on me. He is also extremely thorough. In addition, when you call they are friendly and help you within minutes! read more

I am disgusted about how the office is managed by such uncaring people I am not blaming the doctor but everyone that works for the doctor ..... I am an older person and I don't know how to install the portal application and asked to have my blood result and MRI and Tramica said it was illegal to send them by email ... nonsense I researched and it said it was illegal not send the patience his results and this is the reason I left the facility Cano health Totally irresponsible told many time the doctor will call you and never did and i need to add that theme referral for my colonoscopy was never sent and date of surgery had to be changed Please run away from this facility read more

Cano Health is the worse! Been going to Family Practice for 12yrs..then all the sudden they changed it to Cano Health ..The service is terrible trying to get a referral..I have been with Humana Gold Plus Advantage Plan for 15yrs..which you need to get referrals for specialist..well good luck getting one...been going to Cano Health for about a year..and it is becoming a nightmare with getting referral s from them...I call..my specialist call and still can't get any answers from the referral dept. I have had to cancel appointments due to the poor service. Time to move on to another provider as I am tired of making calls all the time to see what the problem is. This company should of informed me that they were taking over Family Practice...No communication what so ever! Do your research. read more

Spanish and English below Cano Health acumula quejas por tres frentes principales: 1. Cano Health is accumulating complaints on three main fronts: 1. Patient care and service Unprofessional and unsympathetic staff; rushed "15-minute and thank you" consultations, and questionable diagnoses. Poor communication: it's difficult to speak with doctors and understand treatments or billing. Several patients perceive practices that may take advantage of elderly adults, prioritizing billing over health. Translation: more waiting room time than clinical attention. 2. Operations and finances Bankruptcy filing (February 2024) attributed to mismanagement and poor strategy. Former CEO facing trial for alleged fraud and mismanagement. Translation: the "system" is failing on all fronts. 3. Chronic disorganization, poor interdepartmental communication, and unclear leadership. Translation: if it's chaotic internally, it shows externally. Direct conclusion: due to the combination of poor patient experience, operational/financial chaos, and a dysfunctional internal environment, the value proposition is diluted. And yes: I would never recommend Cano Health because of the sheer inefficiency of the different front desk offices. read more

office staff is excellent. The one doctor dr shubin is a terrible doctor. He won't give referrals and can be very aggressive and confrontational,I would not recommend him at all. He is located at the office on Sheridan and university drive. read more

Although my doctor at Cano was especially helpful, I found the extreme wait at my last visit to be unnecessarily long. There were other patients that arrived later than me who had been taken care of before I was seen & I felt forgotten. When I approached the front desk to inquire I was delayed again & decided to leave without notice. It seems poorly run & I only hope this was an exception to the otherwise expeditious treatment I was accustomed to receiving! read more

I've been with Cano Health for 5 years at two different locations and have never had an issue with them. The Drs have been great and the nurses too. The entire staff is always friendly, patient and kind. The few times I've used their transportation service, the drivers are always friendly. My only issue is that at times there is a long period of time when booking appointments with Specialists. read more

The referral process for Cano health is a disaster, they don't answer their phones. They have these out of the country agents that you can barely understand, taking messages making the patients wait longer for care which is not fair and should be against a health ethics law. I will not suggest any patient with HMO's, go for care at CANO health and that's for all their location. JUST NOT RIGHT!!!!! read more

If you are not Spanish you are not welcome here .. period.. the office staff ignores you , even though they see you waiting .. They are extreme rude and have no communication skills unless you speak Spanish.. They call you back when it's your turn but then take someone else back as well and then weigh you in front of other patients, no privacy!' I have to practically scream at the girl at the counter when I'm leaving to make a follow up appointment because she has no clue what I am asking her to do and then still gets it wrong! This was the third strike when I went to the wellness center for an appointment for Elevate health and was so disgusted, after screwing up my previous appointment that they scheduled me for, I had enough. I can't take being ignored and acting like you don't give a shit!!!!!!!!!' And of course no one called me afterwards to find out what happened or why I didn't go so I'm sure they put me down as a no show!!! I like the Doctor, but after this I'm done!!!!! read more

They offer a horrible service in all sense, customer service awful, I had an interaction with a PCP called Dr. Guinart who is the most unprofessional and rude person ever met. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CANO HEALTH!!! CEO and rest of executives should take serious matter on these issues if they still care this company. read more

Careful what permissions you grant Cano Health. I went to Jupiter Cano in 2022 before Cano went private and thought I received quality care from PA Zuleidys. In April 2024 I got a secondary sinus infection and called to make an appointment and could not reach the local office via phone. Since I'm just a few blocks away I walked over and there was another patient there who had also came in to make an appointment. I made an appointment for the next day and the assistant gave me a huge stack of paper forms to fill out. For example, there is a form called HIPPA but Cano had additional ambiguous items in there like allow operations sharing. The desk person said it was to "reaffirm HIPPA" and had to be signed. She allowed me to cross out added allowances and allowed me to state "I consent to following HIPPA". Made no sense to me but where we came to a stalemate was a form that allowed all my past and future medical records (from all providers) to be shared. I vehemently disagreed and said I'll consent to specific records on a need to know basis. She said Cano could not agree to that and if I didn't sign they couldn't treat me so I said goodbye and left. Most likely this information will "anonymized" and sold. read more

Came in for the first time to the Taft and Douglas location since my other location no longer takes private insurance. There's plenty parking so that was no issue. Appt was at 8:30. I came in at 8. About 8:10 someone came from the back and started shouting everyone's name on the check in list to ask what they were here for which I thought it was unprofessional. I was finally called by the medical assistant at 8:48. Wasn't seen by the doctor until 9:10 spend a total of 10 min with her and we were done. She was able to get me in immediately to get my labs done at the same time so I didn't have to come back for it since I was fasting. Lab tech was super nice and got my vein super fast. She did mention that the doctor had order a lot of thing for me based on what we had spoken about so let's see. I was out by 9:40. Overall with exception of the initial impression it was a ok visit. read more

Cano "Health" Is a huge problem and has no credibility. Since Cano "HEALTH" purchased my doctor's office, it has been nothing but trouble, When I call my doctor's office (same phone number as before Cano came into the picture), the Cano people answer the phone and NEVER DO ANYTHING CORRECTLY -- THEY JUST TAKE MESSAGES THAT GENERALLY NEVER GET TO THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE PERSONNEL. This is by far the worst, I mean the WORST clinic anyone can assigned to please be aware and stay away. I've been assigned to them for a couple of months by and I have nothing but HORRIBLE experiences. The lack of professionalism is outrageous. I've had my appointments canceled by my optometrist 4× I repeat 4x all because they couldn't get my referral right. Everytime, I called they phone line goes through a call center. When there's an issue everyone runs away from. But when they need you to come in for visits they will text and call nonstop. EVERYONE PLEASEBE AWARE this CANO Health clinics are scammers who only care about money and nothing else. I wish they wasa less than 1rating cause their sure dont deserve a 1. read more

Very disappointed with your Palm Harbor staff service. I have had issues with the billing of my insurance company. I have had serveral conversations with both Humana the office staff. I was told by Humana they did not code the service properly and the staff says the did. A patient should not have to tell the provider how to code the service to get it covered. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that is concerned with providing quality service. I do not recommend Cano. read more

The office on Taft st is a disaster's ,with the exception of dr De Miranda who is a fantastic doctor,My main complaints has to do with the referral manager who manipulates and delayed the referrals costing patients to loose appointments because no referral on file, this is unhuman. considering that mean while am suffering with pain ,this behavior add stress to my original disease,am seriously considering to take legal action and to bring it to higher levels and is time to stop your game of lies,if you cannot fulllfil with your obligation better finalize your bankruptcy . read more

Dr. Idalia Mendez was my primary care at the kendall and 95th loacation. She is arrogant and humilliated me. I am 73 and disabled and this lady is not qualified to deal with elderly seniors , especially if they are sick like me. I have a heart condition and was shut down by this lady stating that her employer limits the time they can spend with a patient to 15 minutes. There are many Primary doctors in the Kendall area and I don't have to put up with her abuse of the lederly. I have launched a complaint with Medicare already, and willing to go to the media. Cano Health operates under the license given to them by Medicare a Federal agency. The elderly are people too especially those that are sick. read more

I went to Cano Health thinking I was going to get good care. Nothing could have prepared me for the nightmare that it has been to be a member of Cano Health. They take forever to process orders by a specialist they take forever to see you once you get there even if you have an appointment, the doctor is basically an idiot that follows every last thing big Pharma tells him to do. They take forever to give a referral even if you go there in person and request it with the documents from The specialist. Please do not endanger your health by going to Cano Health.. read more

Cano Health operates more like a factory than a true medical office. The hiring process is disorganized and frustrating, with little professionalism or respect for applicants' time. It's no surprise that positions remain open for more than 30 days -- con razón they can't seem to keep roles filled. The focus seems to be on volume rather than quality care or building a strong team, which ultimately reflects poorly on both patients and employees. read more

10/12/2023 I've had the same doctor for over 10 years. In the last 2-3 years Cano bought the practice and as of 5 months ago they sent a text message that they will no longer allow my doctor to see non-Medicare patients at the office. Why?? I have called their call center multiple times and no one is able to help me. I've asked for someone in administration that can explain this decision to me to call me back and am still waiting since July. Clearly Cano decided it was easier to just ignore Private Insurance customers and only see customers they can charge the govt back for since no one will pushback. Cano Health sucks and I am in the process of trying to find a new doctor and practice. read more

The one at 8199 N University dr is horrible. Supposedly I had a virtual visit at noon. The sent a link and I waited 20mins. They seemed more concerned with charging my insurance than actually providing a service of any kind. There is barely anyone who speaks English available to attend English speaking patients and if I were to initiate a conversation in English I was immediately dismissed, thank god I speak Spanish. The parking system is atrocious, requiring patients to leave their car in an unattended fenced in parking lot then be taken back to the office to be seen by a doctor (which takes an unreasonable amount of time). This all took place at the Hialeah location but I honestly wouldn't recommend anything associated with this company or the networks associated with it. I'll definitely be contacting my provider to find something more in line with actual client care. I was very disappointed in the overall experience and I think it's important that they review their staff to make sure their services are equitable for everyone in the area, it should not be a burden when someone walks in speaking English. read more

Care Quality, and office: I have been going to Cano Health for years on University and the quality of service has decreased. If there was a zero that's what the number I would use. The patient is a 92 year old female who is recently diagnosed with dementia. The Dr that saw her knows this and refused to provide medications that would no longer give her the adverse side effects she was dealing with. Between the office administrator on to the Dr they have refused to respond to my calls for help and clarification. I was told over 5 days that I would receive a call and never did. In fact, I spoke to an on-call nurse who told me there was no record of the medical request. She gave me the same line and STILL have not received a call.
